"Lovely location with incredible reviews. Seeing the released red macaws on site was a treat. Tours booked via the hotel were excellent and we appreciated the recourse when one of our tours did not work out. Really loved the upper sunset deck. Restaurant was decent. Pool lovers may be disappointed with the pool."

"Check in took 20 mins, and confusion over when room would be ready. That took couple of attempts. However both pools were lovely, range drinks in all inclusive great and bed very comfortable. Surprised no fridge, but could get cold drinks to bring back to room. Breakfast very good quality, dinner ok and snack bar at lunch good feature for a smaller lunch."

"Alma Vida was an amazing place to stay during our visit to Manuel Antonio/Quepos. The property and grounds were gorgeous and they had three beautiful pools. Breakfast was included, which we got every morning and was really good. It is also really close to a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops, which you can walk to. We also saw a lot of animals on the property, including iguanas, agoutis, and monkeys."

"Incredible. The customer service is something I’ve never experienced. The grounds are immaculate. Monkeys are many. We even saw a sloth pretty regularly. The view was incredible! Again, I can’t get over the customer service. Talk about prompt, kind, and gracious. I would definitely stay here again. I wouldn’t even bother with another hotel. I could not have asked for more. *** be prepared to walk some inclines and stairs. No matter where your room is, that is definitely going to be part of the journey. "

"Hotel was beyond expectations Really liked the Mexican restaurants downstairs by the bar , breakfast buffet is also worth it . You can get coffee , juices etc and it comes with so many options for $20 per person it’s early tho from 6-10am Would have like it to end at least an hour later . Also the coffee shop the coffee was so good and so were their pastries So convenient to have for early coffee sips for the early birds ! "
