“What a lovely place, super clean and very quiet. The entire staff are wonderful. You can rent onsite motorbike which is really appreciate. It’s a pure joy to ride a motorbike in the mountain in the area. Around 2 km from the hotel. ”

“A group of seven adults spent a week at Villa Banyan. The property was fantastic for a big group. Lots of different spaces to relax as a group, couple, or individually. The staff were fabulous and made my birthday week exceptional. Dea invited us to her village temple to celebrate the full moon ceremony where we were warmly welcomed, the trip to Menjangan Island to snorkel was a highlight. Could not recommend more highly.”

“2 couples in our 60’s stayed 5 nights in this beautiful villa. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms - but kitchen area was a bit outdated ( not that it mattered to us as Ita and Desak did all the cooking for us! There’s no indoor sitting area other than the dining table, but there’s a fantastic outdoor living room which is very comfortable. The pool was wonderful and a perfect warm temperature . Great views out to the black sand beach and ocean. The gardener came by every morning to trim, rake……

“This was such an amazing place to stay. Where to begin ??, the house and property are beautiful. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. The patio was very comfortable. The pool and beach were amazing. The trees & plants were so pretty. Best of all, we experienced NO BUGS! The 2 ladies that took care of the cooking & cleaning were beyond amazing. I felt like royalty. Every single meal was prepared like a 5star restaurant would. We also took advantage of their massage services and were never……

“We were welcomed by the staff with welcome drinks and a chilled cloth - felt very special. The staff were all very friendly and could not do enough for you. The chef even took my husband to the local market on her scooter to choose some fresh items, she helped with the communication cap and navigated the area for him. The manager was very prompt and Orangised us tours - one tour that you must do is go to the ‘secret/hidden water fall ‘ - it is quite a drive to get there (1.5-2 hrs) but so worth……

“Lilly, the owner, could not have been more helpful or responsive; we talked to her every day and she was always there to give us advice and make sure everything was good for us. The stregnth of this place was the views, which really are great; over the rice fields and close enough to the ocean that you can hear the waves crashing. The house is large, the AC works, and there is a nice kitchen, as well as really nice outdoor spaces to look at the view. We would certainly return.”

“We had the best time in this amazing villa. Staff were wonderful and cooked us delicious. Location is a little remote (1/2 hour west of Lovina) but our friendly driver took us everywhere we wanted to go at very reasonable cost. Diving and snorkelling at Menjangan island a highlight. Also highly recommended the trip on a fishing boat to see dolphins at sunrise with pick up from the beach by the villa. All in all a wonderful holiday!”
