"FIRST TIME STAYING AT A HOLIDAY INN. The sink was clogged and would overflow while brushing teeth or washing hands. Hot tub was broken (main reason I booked this stay). Pool was full of hair and unknown floating objects. About 15 unsupervised children were in the pool being naughty. Belligerent guests above our unit kept us and our 3 kids awake all night until 3AM, as they were running in their unit, banging items and being loud. Staff was called multiple times and ultimately nothing changed. I do appreciate the gluten free options and go bags for breakfast. We paid for the stay to relax instead of having to drive almost 2 hours back home and we didn't accomplish that goal. Would not stay at this branch again. "

"Room is awesome, clean, smells great. Pool is nice. Staff are not great. I had several issues during the stay that ruined it for me. Probably will not stay here ever again. "

"Comfortable bed and clean room. The fridge and microwave are convenient. I was never disturbed by any neighbors, very quiet. There was plenty of parking. "

"The room was pretty clean. Check in was easy and the location is close to a hospital and the fairgrounds. The room was stinky and this is a loud motel with trFfic and lots of sirens because the hospital is close. For the price, the accommodation was okay."

"Great property. Convenient location. Super friendly staff. Little thing- gym is on the 3rd floor so hours are restricted due to noise. Would totally stay again. "

"We stayed just one night. (thankfully) The young man checking us in was very nice although I asked for the top 3rd floor and got 2nd floor. Sure enough, the guests above us were obnoxious. Dropping something like a cell phone on the floor throughout the night. Children were running & screaming all over the place, up & down the stairs, everywhere. They were having great fun for no less than 2 hours from 9pm to 11pm at least. When I say screaming... It was non-stop. Unbelievable that parents would allow that. Unacceptable that the staff didn't put that to a quick stop. At 3:30am, a very loud pounding noise woke us up. Like someone pounding on a door repeatedly. That lasted about 20 minutes. Never could get back to sleep. This was daylight savings by the way!! Needless to say, we will never stay there again. We checked reviews before booking and regret not taking them seriously. I do not like leaving negative reviews... But only do it out of concern for the safety of others. The owners & management are responsible to make sure their guests have a safe & comfortable stay. That's what we paid for. We did not receive it. Pay a little more and stay in a more reputable hotel! "

"Everything is in great condition. Very nice place to stay for activities at the State Fair Grounds, close to dining options, lots of parking, mostly quiet (there is a train nearby). The beds were comfortable. Could use better lighting in the master bath over the sinks, the bulbs were very dim. Hard to apply makeup, but not a major issue. "
