Nice deal

I don't know prices in the area but it seemed like a very very good deal. Nice place, wonderfully located near very good restaurants, large parks, the riverfront, and a scenic 20 mimute walk to the old city. Lack of on-site staff was balanced by quick and helpful responses if you telephoned the remote concierge. Slightly dirty under the beds (not a big deal) but otherwise very clean and a nice vibe.

We stayed 3 days; the location is excellent as we were able to walk downtown but also to the Cartier Ave. neighbourhood just west of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and the room was delightful.

Just my wife and I , we booked this months in advance. There is no staff in the building , bathroom was dated and moldy, barking dog in room next to us, window opens to admin closet. TV did not work, room was stuffy. Horrible worse experience in years. Do not go here. Room was never cleaned, we had to go get our own towels.

Very nice and cozy hotel. The staff was super-friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Just a 10 minutes walk to Old Quebec and to the art museum. There are lots of restaurants close-by.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful, my room was very charming. I loved that I was at walking distance from many Québec’s attractions, that there were many restaurants and shops nearby. My only complaint is about the breakfast: it was supposed to be a buffet at a nearby art gallery and turn out to be a coffee and sandwich at a cafeteria

Very clean and quiet place to stay. The city center is a 15-20 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast is included in the price and the restaurant is located 3 min walk from the hotel. Parking is within the property and has 1 CCS charger for your EV. 4/5 only because parking is not included in the price and it is 17$/day (Hotel description doesn't have this information on Expedia)

There was no staff to assist us. My reservation did not originally show that this was a virtual hotel and that you better be very tech savvy. Would never recommend nor stay there again. The towels are not great and the paper products are terrible. Not much good to say about the place.

I enjoyed my 4-night solo stay at Charles-Alexandre. The Staff are supportive and responsive. Breakfast options were limited, maybe they could include some eggs, cereal and fresh fruit on the weekends. The mattress was in good shape and I was able to sleep restfully.

Quaint, clean & excellent location

Excellent location and extremely clean! Very quaint and walkable to old city as well as many restaurants/bars in the area. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious, especially the croissants! It was a bit odd that the washroom was not a closed room, just a divider and curtains. It was fine as a couple, but would feel less comfortable renting with a friend.

Friendly staff, unique older building. We loved the fact that we could walk to Old Quebec and out in the evening for dining options. The stairs were a bit of a hike to the top floor, parking was very tight...small SUV or smaller is ok. The rooms don't have microwaves or small fridges. Overall we would stay there again.

My favourite thing about this property was the staff. Monica & Fatima at the front desk went above & beyond to help with suggestions for sightseeing. I ran into problems with a tour I had planned & Monica suggested ways to still see the city. Thank you, girls!

We enjoyed our stay but didn't realize that our room was up two flights of narrow stairs. No coffee makers in the rooms, old style door keys. Breakfast was very nice. If stairs aren't your thing ask the staff before you book.
