“Our stay at Derwent House was exceptional. It was a lovely facility, clean, beautifully decorated with African art. The breakfasts were fabulous--many choices hot and cold, tasty and filling. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. The location is close to dining on Kloof Street and reasonably priced Uber rides get you to all the sights in the city. We could see Table Mountain from our room. I can't say enough good about this establishment and will recommend it to anyone traveling to Cape……

“Beautiful, modern and spotless place in a great neighborhood, close to many restaurants and the waterfront. We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing we wished for was some patio furniture on the rooftop so we could have enjoyed the outdoor space even more. Would definitely recommend!”

“Excellent stay with the most accommodating and helpful staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were greeted with refreshments every evening and our beds were made comfortable nightly with hot water bottles making us sleep better than at home. “Hotellet ligger på en dejlig rolig gade, men tæt på caféer/restauranter. Smukke fællesrum og værelser, men værelser er meget små. De 2 små pools er virkelig små men den øverste terrasse er hyggelig og med dejlig udsigt. Dårligt personale, man føler sig ikke velkommen overhovedet. Ingen smil og ingen snak. Fin morgenmad med alt hvad man kan ønske sig, men man skal ikke have et åbent køkken når personalet hellere vil checke deres mobiltelefoner end skabe en god stemning. Vi har oplevet utrolig god……

“I had a pleasant stay. The location was perfect. Very central location in Sea Point. Always felt safe. Some restaurants and convenience stores are nearby. The employees were attentive and helpful. I came to run the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon and it was walking distance to the stadium and start/finish line. I would stay there again. It’s close enough to get to meeting points for various tours.”
