「Our stay was terrific - waking up to the sounds of the howler monkeys followed by layers of bird songs was amazing! We loved our compact apartment that provided everything we needed. Having access to buses, taxis, beach routes was great. So much diversity all in one place. The Manual park tours is a must along with Finca Rocio coffee and spice tour. Both made our stay that much more culturally enriching!」

「I just checked out this morning and I can wait to go back. Outstanding property- we saw tons of birds, mammals, butterflies and reptiles from the two incredible decks. Our kids got up early every day to go watch birds and monkeys. Andres was an amazing concierge, answering questions and making reservations for activities and dinner. One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed in, and the kindest host, made this one of the most exceptional vacations. 」

「This home is AMAZING! It is exactly as pictured and was perfect for our group. There were two families (eight people total) with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. 「We really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista. Our villa was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were separate bathrooms (with showers) for each bedroom, which was really convenient. The highlight was the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific that we watched each evening from our private plunge pool. We grew fond of the brightly colored pair of scarlet macaws living nearby (and frequently flying over us). What could be more "pura vida" than that?」

「Can’t say enough good things about this property and the team taking care of it. Great location, great surroundings, clean, gorgeous pool, just A all around. Also saw monkeys and other wildlife daily from the back porch. 「Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. 」
