“This is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a small, family-run boutique. When I had trouble dealing with noise from the street due to migraines, they moved me to a quieter room. When I got an ear infection, one of their workers walked me to a medical clinic and helped me with the appointment. The family even invited me to go bicycling with them. ”

“A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.”

“Illa Experience Hotel is an absolutely beautiful property with both historic and modern elements. Our room (a second floor suite with views of the charming street) was incredibly spacious and well appointed. Indeed, the entire hotel was renovated with thoughtful details. “The hotel was amazing. The hotel owners (Oswaldo and his wife) were so very kind and they tended to our every need. The excursions which they provide are very helpful and when we need help they provide us with it very well.”

“Hotel Casa Montero is a solid choice if you want to stay in the historic center of Quito. The entry courtyard is tranquil and inviting, and the beds are quite comfortable. A particular bonus was the size and functionality of the bath/shower -- really impressive! The staff was fantastic -- very kind and helpful. Overall, I had a great time here!”

“The hotel was so cute, well decorated (I love the 'it's a museum' vibe). I love that the artwork inside went with the room name/theme. I had a room with two beds, though I only needed one and it had SO much space. It was a last minute reservation I just needed for one night, but I'm looking forward to returning and staying for multiple nights!”
