This fantastic cottage offers a premium nespresso maker, and cozy heating and cooling to keep guests comfortable year-round. Whether you’re relaxing indoors, on the large screened in porch, in the hot tub, or on the private double decker dock, the space feels welcoming and easygoing. The cottage was sparkling clean and appears recently renovated, so everything was in pristine condition. The space is cozy, comfortable and the views are great. The outdoor space is incredible, with a screened porch along the back, an outdoor kitchen space, a fire pit overlooking the lake, and a huge upper deck over the lake and a lower boat/kayak dock. Our dog loved the ample outdoor space. Situated on a quiet cove, the lake was so serene and the water was clean and refreshing. We didn’t explore beyond the cove, due to time, but there are boat rentals nearby which we would definitely do on a return visit. The hot tub was a wonderful perk, very clean and brand new. WiFi works great, if you have to do any work as we did. Highly recommend, and hope to stay again.

We loved everything about this place... the amazing view from the private back screened-in porch, the deck, the quiet, the kayaks, the fire pit, the wind chimes, the grill, the amazing outdoor kitchen, the hot tub and fire table. Nespresso machine too. Comfortable and cozy yet plenty of space for a small family. Everything is new and clean. We'll be back next summer. The fall would also be an amazing time to visit. It is a perfect place for a private couple's getaway that has everything you want. And yet, there's plenty of outdoor spaces to entertain. Couldn't have asked for a better place on Claytor Lake.Thankful and feeling rested.

The Lake Cabin was wonderful place that felt so warm and inviting, from the moment we opened the door and seeing the "welcome" written on the broad to seeing Biblical Scriptures in each of the rooms was so peaceful of setting. The Lake Cabin was full stocked with anything from cooking instruments, games, flashlights and matches to the wonderful books to read like one of our favorite authors Max Lucado. It's seems as the property owners thought of everything that someone would want or need for a peaceful get-away. The Lake Cabin was outfittied with some very nice top-shelve appliances and building materials as you could easily tell there where no corners cut when completing this beautiful and warm place to come for a quite time of rest and relaxation. Seating out on the back screen-in area looking at Claytor Lake was our favorite of all, sitting with our coffee and reading the Bible with such a peaceful place was just surreal. We are going to be making this Lake Cabin a place to return to again and again! Our greatest complements to the Hosts, you took time to create this amazing place to stay with a lot of personal touches and care. The Hosts were very kind and quick to response to our Q&A and generous. Thank You for creating such an amazing and peaceful place for our memories, God Bless, Frank W. & Teresa
