Sweet getaway in Northern NM

The house is pretty spectacular- large spaces to gather in, a nice, well- furnished kitchen to cook all our meals in, and picturesque views from all angles of the home. The true star of the show is that gigantic window looking out toward the mountains. I believe that Taos and the surrounding villages are the most magical spots on earth, and Skydancer is an exceptional place to witness that.

Great House in Taos

Great house for our spring break ski trip. Unbelievable views of Taos mountain in a great new neighborhood. Our only issues with the house were low water pressure (couldn’t use multiple sources of water at once) and the room with the bunks was really large but sparsely furnished — our kids couldn’t really hang out there because there was no where to sit down. Property manager was great and it was a clean, beautiful property.

Fantastic house

The house is even better in person than the listing appears! The only reason I gave 4 stars for location is because it’s a bit of a drive to anything we needed. The hostess gifts were fantastic & the house was well equipped. Lots of space for our party of 7, & the “game room” was perfect for our youngest son & his friend. The only issue we had was the water pressure is very low. One day the water stopped completely, but once we cleaned the home water filter out, it improved. We did have to coordinate showers/laundry/dishwasher usage because you can’t use more than one of those at a time. This wouldn’t keep us from renting the home again, but it is worth noting. The hosts were wonderful & communication was easy & prompt. They even brought a “thank you” gift by the house for us after we emptied the filter. Great home, great hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing that took us by surprise was that there was no Air Conditioner, so when we arrived on Friday it was quite hot in the house, we opened windows and doors but it never cooled down until Saturday morning.Aside from that, we truly enjoyed it!
