"Can't say enough good things about Alux! My friend and I visited Placencia for our Birthdays and were originally booked at other accomadations. We left the other place after one night and found Alux. What a gem! It is in the heart of the village. Everything is walkable, with lots of options for food, shopping and fun. "The location was incredible and the staff were friendly and incredibly accomodating. A chair in my room needed to be replaced and the TV was not fully installed yet, but neither of those things detracted from the experience in any meaningful way. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Placencia."

"We loved our stay in the Turtle room! We had a last minute change in our itinerary and needed a place for only one night... But we wished we had more time at this spot! The owners are very kind and responsive. The room was very comfy and cozy. I appreciated all the shelving in the rooms and bathroom. AC worked great. And the screened in porch was really wonderful to hang out on. It's also in a great location for wandering around the village. "
