"The room was spacious and had a nice view but we were not given the room type we selected. Upon calling they first asked why did I think we had the wrong room. After explaining I was told they had lock issues with the category room I booked and that I should have received an email. I did not. To compensate they gave us free breakfast for the 2 nights we were there. Dinner at their restaurant was good. I would recommend staying here but make sure you get the room category that you book. The Snaefellsness Peninsula was awesome."

"Great cabin with unmatched views right outside the door. Lots of spices left in the cupboards, no need to bring salt and pepper. Several packs of toilet paper left by previous occupants too. Pots, pans and dishes were well stocked and good quality. You do your own cleaning and laundry, so figure time for washing linens and towels before you leave. I didn’t see an outdoor outlet for a plug-in hybrid car so don’t rent that."
