「An authentic experience. Ravenna doesn't have easy access to taxis or Uber that we could see. We arrived at the train station from Rome and took the local train one stop to Classe (the South Western part of town). It was a relatively short walk from the Classe train stop using Google maps since the hotel is not visible from the stop. We ate at the on-site restaurant which is very authentic. 「We had an enormous suite, I think the only one. The building is listed and very old with very high ceilings. the public rooms are enormous and one has f19th century frescoes. Clean and run by friendly helpful staff. The breakfast is limited but adequate. The place is full of character and charm.」

「I had only one regret, which was that I could only stay at Villa Noctis for one night. Michele was a wonderful, warm, and helpful host--the rooms were quiet, spacious, and comfortable, and his dining recommendations (at i Furfanti) could not have been a more satisfying choice. If I return to Ravenna, and I hope to do so soon, I will certainly book my stay at Villa Noctis again.」
