“Such a peaceful cabin! Loved the creek and the bird feeders. We took advantage of the horseshoe pits and enjoyed that every afternoon. Close to Garner St. Park and Lost Maples. The host had the cabin decorated for Christmas which was so nice. Would definitely come back!”

“ The kitchen was fuilly equiped with everything I needed to cook. The ac work very well, and the inside of the cabin was clean. It was very peaceful, just what i wanted. I am sure it gets busy in the summer time, but i chose the right time to make this trip. There was a fire ring outside the cabin as well as a a BQQ grill. The frio river is just a few feet away which was really great. Be sure to bring your own bed sheets, linens, and pillows.”

“It was an okay experience overall. Frankly, we expected much more from this place, especially considering the high price we paid. The kitchen was very outdated and poorly equipped. The pans and pots were overly used, some even rusty, and many of the utensils were in bad shape and difficult to use. The place it self was nice, quiet and cozy. It didn’t blow my mind though. ”

“I picked this cabin for the proximity of several hiking locations. Perfect location to enjoy Garner State Park, Lost Maples Natural Area, the Frio and several local hiking/ biking areas. The room was super clean. Exactly as pictured. Mattress was very comfortable and the extra blankets came in handy on a 35 degree night. Great views from the porch and around the property. Hiking and mountain biking trails in the back of the property were great. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the hills. I'm……
