"The cabin is nice and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds are comfortable. The patio off the cabin is nice with a grill and fire pit and lights at night if you want them. The property is peaceful and relaxing and has a pool. Our host was great and even delivered firewood to our cabin so we could roast marshmallows. We enjoyed the swings and watching deer. We were there to float the river and liked that it’s only 10 minutes to Garner state park. Recommend!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo was clean. The view was beautiful. My kids loved the pool. The pool had an awesome layout. Checking in was very smooth, no problems. It was quiet and peaceful. We loved it and we will be returning again."

"We had an amazing stay and would book again in a heartbeat. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Third Crossing, so river access was easy all week. The land is gorgeous with tons of open space, and our two dogs had a blast running around, this place is truly pet-friendly, not just in name. We saw all kinds of wildlife too, a great bonus for the whole family.The house was spotless top to bottom when we arrived, one of the cleanest rentals we've stayed in. It's also genuinely family-friendly, with plenty to keep everyone entertained: a firepit, board games, yard games, and a big covered patio we used constantly. No pool or hot tub, but we didn't miss it since the free river access is so close. Tip: drive down to drop everyone at the river first, then park behind the property gate and walk down, much easier than carrying gear the whole way.The host really made the trip. On our last day I got a flat tire and had to run into Leakey to get it fixed. They were incredibly understanding, offered a late checkout without hesitation, and responded to every message almost instantly.Highly recommend this place for a family (and dog-friendly) getaway. Beautiful land, spotless house, great location, and a host who genuinely cares about their guests."

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean for the most part. If we needed anything they were there for us. Pool was clean and the outside area was great except there was a red wasp nest somewhere because they were flying around a lot. No one got stung. Overall good time."
The Leakey side - Whiskey Mountain Duplex - Great Location!

"Wonderful stay, beautiful space, close to everything, very clean and cozy. This is a duplex, so you will have neighbors to share your porch. Not a big deal for us, we had the best neighbors but thought I would mention. Loved watching the hummingbirds off of the front porch, so beautiful."

"This cabin was so cute and just the right size for a long holiday weekend. It was close enough to town that we got to enjoy the small town rodeo, farmers market and street festival but far enough away to have privacy, quiet and a truly beautiful night sky. The river frontage was clean and the view of the hill country was stunning. Christy was very prompt in responding and the whole process of booking was smooth."
