“I usually don’t write hotel reviews unless a place is either so bad it deserves a documentary… or so good it makes me question my actual home. 😂 This time around, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville Blount Island absolutely delivered. From the second I walked in, the presentation and customer service were flawless. The lobby was clean, the staff was friendly, and nobody looked at me like I was inconveniencing them by existing. That alone deserves applause these days. 👏 Now let’s talk……

“This was our first time here, location is very conveniently close to shopping, restaurants and even the carnival port for cruisers. We stayed the night before our cruise for May16. Check in/out was east ave quick. I don’t remember the guys name who checked us in but he has great customer service. “I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a……

“This was a nice facility with friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are spacious and it also hepled having a fridge/microwave and stovetop. Makes for a convenient stay. Would stay here again.”

“Surrounded by derelict buildings, the property has a bombed out chic vibe. Construction dust is thick and plastic draped everywhere. Staff is apathetic and our room was untouched for 5 days by housekeeping despite requests. This place has deteriorated in 2 years. Avoid!”
