「We enjoyed the quiet luxury of our room and bath, and the beauty of the entire house. The breakfasts were tasty, prepared by the very friendly chef. Excellent coffee, too. We lounged a bit in all the common areas and enjoyed the beautiful furnishings and fireplace. It was such a treat to stay in this unique, lovely place.」

「The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. They offered me complimentary breakfast and accompanied me while I was waiting in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first time being able to fall asleep on a hotel bed without the help of melatonin pills! The Cochrane Inn is truly a magical house to me!  Thank you for the awesome stay once again, Rica...

「Our room was spacious and clean. The parking spot was right next to our room. The inn's location is nice, close to downtown. Founders Brewing is also close by. We felt safe. The icing on the cake was Mona's hospitality. She was always available and willing to please. Her breakfasts were delicious. Lots to do in Detroit. We'll be back.」

「Clean and spacious apartment hotel with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable. Dining options limited in the immediate area, but coney island and other options available within a 7 to 10 minute walk. Casinos within a 12 to 15 minute walk. Only issue was, their was no TV in the bedroom. Large TV in the living room with Roku channel load. I will definitely stay here again.」

「The Roost is a VERY cool update on a classic Detroit property. The rooms have character with a capital C, and aren't your standard hotel space. From the moment you enter the lobby, you realize this is something quite different. Once there, you're in the heart of Detroit, with easy walking to tons of restaurants and the downtown, including Woodward, concert venues, and Comerica Park. Excellent. We'll be back. 」
