We only stayed the one night, so didnt get chance to use the facilities.
Although we didnt have a dog, there was plenty of evidence that the hotel was very dog friendly.
We had a very nice double room on the ground floor. It was clean and welcoming. There was a variety of chairs to sit on. Much more comfy than squatting on the side of the bed.
The bathroom was also spotlessly clean with a lovely walk in shower and a bath. Lovely large white fluffy bath towels.
Our stay came with a breakfast, which was really appreciated as we had a long drive back home. The menu choice was good and varied.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate in recommending to others.
The only thing that spoilt our stay was my husband getting black marks on his hand going to breakfast. From the ground flloor rooms, there is a small number of steps going down to the reception and restaurant area. Im guessing that the handrail had been cleaned with a metal polish and the residue had not been polished off sufficiently. My husband has mobility issues and would have gripped the handrail quite tightly to help navigate the steps. Luckily there was lovely thick paper napkins on our table, so i was able to wipe most of the marks off.
