"Stayed at the resort for 4 nights . The room was clean . Bed was soft for my comfort. Additionally, Air conditioning was set and unable to get a remote to change the temperature to adjust temperature for ones comfort. Toilet kept running and bathroom shower pipe dripping for the duration of the stay . Hotel upkeep is poor .
Notwithstanding, I took off a Bulova crystal watch , left in the room and went out the watch was no where to be found, Reported the matter to the front desk Friday evening the lady (dark complexion) . Dismissive of my report, Said the staff are not that way , To add insult they are not responsible for persons items .
So if one is staying in someone hotel should they not show sow duty of care ?
Should the hotel show some concern of the guests safety, should they not show some care if your personal items are safe .
From since reporting the loss the hotel staff have not given any update on my watch !
