2024 Updates: New fencing, new landscaping lights, and new 2nd-level HVAC!
OVERVIEW: Superb lakefront beach home with private pool. The designer-owned Silver Lake compound features a well-appointed main house with unsurpassed views of Silver Lake, as well as a two-bedroom cottage overlooking the in-ground pool, nestled amidst lush gardens for ultimate privacy. This beach home is one of a kind! Offering five bedrooms and five bathrooms, the property comfortably accommodates 12 guests, with three bedrooms located in the main house and two in the cottage.
The main house is gorgeous—light, airy, and clean—with impressive water views. The beautiful kitchen is sure to delight any home chef, featuring a double oven, modern appliances, and ample cooking space. Enjoy a large open dining area overlooking Silver Lake's tranquil waters and the surrounding gardens. The home also includes a front deck with lake views, a fenced-in yard, a spacious living room, three bedrooms on the second level, and an additional lounge area.
The updated guest cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms—perfect for additional family or friends.
LOCATION: Ideally situated near Silver Lake, one of Rehoboth Beach's most picturesque natural landmarks—home to elegant waterfowl, peaceful walking paths, and stunning sunset views. Just a quick walk to South Rehoboth Beach & Boardwalk, where you'll find charming shops, oceanfront dining, and the famous Rehoboth bandstand. Enjoy morning strolls along the boardwalk, relaxing beach days, and the perfect blend of tranquility and coastal activity. The home also offers easy access to Rehoboth Avenue's vibrant restaurants, boutiques, and nightlife.
PARKING: Off-street parking for approximately four cars.
AMENITIES: Outdoor shower, large rear deck with propane grill, full washer & dryer, central AC & heat, and free Wi-Fi.
THINGS TO KNOW: The fireplaces in the cottage and main house are not operable. . No pets and no smoking! Linens are not supplied; however, a linen rental program is available for guest convenience.

Pending Resolution

This review is pending resolution of a problem. Currently, I would not rend from this host or this realtor again. Towards the end of our stay the property lost water. Water was not restored until after we checked out. Used pool water to flush the toilets. I’ve been trying for two weeks to get a partial refund. The realtor is acting as a g between with the host but has not made an effort to resolve this in a timely manner. I’m happy to update this review once this issue is resolved.

Great Place

Beautiful house equipped with everything u need especially high end kitchen! Pool and guest house a big plus. My partner n I took the guest house n grandkids n their parents in the big house…we got to sleep in. Was just perfect for our family. Will be back!

Great house and pool! Kind of loud location

We loved our stay at this house. The house and pool were amazing and very comfortable for our group during our week long stay. The location itself is on a very busy road and along with some construction noise next door, it was disruptive at times so be mindful of that!

Beautiful home in a great location

We had a wonderful time at this property. It is walkable to town in Rehoboth and to Poodle Beach, but the supplied parking passes make driving to either possible. The pool was great and big fun for the kids. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had some small issues with the trash collection and with the ice maker but those are minor issues that likely will be quickly addressed. Overall, we would be thrilled to stay here again.

Perfect Stay

We had a terrific stay - any issues that came up were addressed the same day. The pool was key and we were within walking distance to the Rehoboth and Dewey beaches. The house was perfect for our family. Would rent it again!

Gracious lake view home.

Lovely house with nice furniture. A bit far from ocean, but parking passes let us park at beach. Feels like a family's home, rather than a rental--furniture and decor are nice, if a bit old. In fact, the house is on the older side, an older, gracious home. Kitchen pretty well equipped. We needed glasses and potholders, and realtor provided the same day we asked. Also, the house had not been cleaned, due to a misunderstanding, but realtor took care of that, too. The pool is a nice perk. The grounds are lovely, and the view of Silver Lake is beautiful, too.

Fantastic!

Our stay was fantastic and the property was amazing! The house has a great beach feel to it, is in a great location, and the views are beautiful. The pool is a great added benefit! You have the best of both worlds, you can either go into town at Rehoboth or Dewey, but also stay at the house and enjoy the company of friends and family!

not as expected for the price

This is my first ever semi negative review and we vacation somewhere every year for at least 4 days with the family. The house was not clean, hair in both showers, dead bugs everywhere in the cottage. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was nice, beds very comfortable, pool was awesome., beach was gr8 . We had trouble parking, 4 families (2 trucks) and only room for 2 cars to stay off the bricks, no park passes or welcome letter. We had to call the realty next day for wifi code (pw on box did not work) and house rules. What really bugged me was that there was not 1 roll of toilet paper in any of the bathrooms except a partial in 1bath ( - who takes all the toilet paper when they leave)? We left a partial roll in every bathroom. Our family enjoyed each other but I would not go back. this was not an inexpensive house.

Beautiful, relaxing, & convenient

This home is appointed so nicely and located right between the center of Rehoboth and the center of Dewey. It made a great gathering spot for our family to celebrate father's day and my husband's birthday. The beach access is a very short walk and a much prettier beach than the congested area in town. Waking up to the lake view with the ocean in the distance was fabulous! We will definitely be back to create more family memories next summer!
