My wife and I stumbled upon this place on the way home from a trip to Chicago a year ago- it was such a great experience that we took our family of 5 back for a weekend trip. 「I cannot really rate this room on loneliness or anything else when we got to this hotel there were storm warnings and sirens going off the hotel had no electricity which was not their fault. The entire town did not have any electricity by the time we get to our rooms which were on the second floor after electricity came back on. 「YIKES. Black mold and rust all over the bathroom ceiling and in the AC vents. Given the way the ceiling looked, I can't imagine the whole place not being infested with mold. The sink and shower water smelled VERY strongly of sulfur (rotten egg/fart smell) and I smelled awful after a quick shower. Whenever we washed our hands, the room would stink.
