Great Family Stay

Our family loved everything about the house, and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. The game room was epic and kept everyone entertained for hours!

Amazing time

My friends and I stay here with zero problems. Five beds that fit more than one, clean home with plates, great host who communicates by text to not disturb the flow of the vacation. The house has more than enough cups and good environment that makes you feel right at home.

Awesome Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Peter’s amazing home! Peter is a great host as he met with us to give us a tour & made sure to show us how everything worked! We loved the kitchen, comfortable beds, outside fire pit, but the huge hit for everyone was the very large game room! It was perfect to entertain us all for our daughter’s graduation from UNR! It was nice to have conversations upstairs & let those that are competitive, be themselves in the soundproof game room! Highly recommend this beautiful home for the wonderful memories created to last a lifetime!

Celebrating our sons 21st and best friends 50th!!!

First of all, communication with Pete was easy and thorough. He was available to answer all questions I had before our stay. The house is amazing. Super clean, and the layout is amazing for larger families who are looking for a place to all be together. The basement game room is absolutely a blast. But if kids and gaming get too loud the upstairs gourmet kitchen and seating areas to watch football and visit are bar none. I can’t say enough about the property and what it provides to visit with family. My entire extended family could not stop talking about what a great visit it was. It would have been impossible to have such an intimate visit in a hotel with separate rooms. I am already planning another trip to the Murphy house for my sons graduation from UNR this spring. 5 stars on every aspect!! I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation. Thanks again!!!

The house, amenities, location and Host made this accommodation perfect for our family reunion. We were a party of 10, with seven adults, two teens, and a 9-year-old - so the multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas and the game room were perfect. The nearby San Rafael Regional Park is a lovely place for a walk and had some weekend activities during our stay. The host, Pete, gave a thorough orientation, provided written instructions, and checked in each day to see if we needed anything. Our family comes together to Reno often, as we hail from Hawaii, Utah and California - we'll be back.

Awesome spot for friends!

Rented this spot with a group of 15 friends, We had a great time at this spot! Tons of games, distance from the neighbors, comfortable beds, helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend this spot for your next Reno trip!

Wonderful experience. We stayed here for our daughters graduation from UNR. Great location. Came back and had a nice lunch we had catered. Would highly recommend this place!

Fun house for a weekend!

Our lab group stayed at Murphy's Fun House and had an absolute blast! Lots of space to accommodate everyone, and the game room made it such a fun time. We will definitely be back in the future!

Amazing house

We had such a fun stay here. The house was perfect for 11 people, we had more than enough room. The game room was amazing and everyone had such a good time. House location was perfect we enjoyed going to the casinos and snowboarding, but enjoyed the house even more.

This house doesn't disappoint!!

The coolest owners I've met to date when renting, everything was as advertised and more. The game room is where we spent the majority of our time. The property is awesome and the house is huge as there was 10 of us with plenty of more room to spare. Literally blocks from the casinos and yes I'll be staying here again.

Amazing House

Everything about this place made our stay very very enjoyable. The house was amazing. A lot of room for everyone to enjoy. Honestly the pictures of the house help but do not show how great the house really is. The home owner Pete was very helpful and sent me a text daily just to make sure everything was going alright and too see if we needed anything. Our group has already decided that if the house is available in 3 years when we return we are staying here again!

Party House

Selected Reno for a family 40th Birthday Party and the house worked nicely for the get together. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and space for everyone. A little disappointed the a/c was not working and we were using a swamp cooler which helped but was not coolest it could have been in such hot weather. It did cool down the last night and we were able to enjoy the yard and all its fountains and lights.

This place is AMAZING!!

If you are looking for a place in Reno LOOK NO FURTHER! We have done VRBO multiple times and the one thing I will say is this place is the best and the pictures don’t Truly do it justice. From the games, the fridges, the outdoor lounge areas to all of the bedrooms for everyone to have their space is amazing. And I will finish with this there is not a Host out there better than Pete! Communication is key but he truly wants you to have a great time and will make sure you do. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and look forward to staying here again! Thanks Pete!

A wonder place hosted by an amazing person in an awesome city!!

What a great time of the year to spend, at a great home, in a wonderful city. This home literally exceeded our expectations with all the amenities we could ask for, especially we loved the game and bar room in the basement. Pete is definitely a 5-star host, very deligent, thorough and friendly. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe (doesn't mean that you have to be quiet and if you need to be loud you have the game room in the basement). The place is just a mile away from the casinoes. We are a group of 5 families with lot of kids, and each and everyone (including our 2yrs old) enjoyed the stay the most. Pete's home is definitely in my top 5 list and I am really looking forward to our future stay at this place .. Very strongly recommend!!
