Perfect break

Property was fantastic- everything you need is there. Nice touch of providing bath robes and footwearto get to hot tub. nice and quiet location, hot tub just a few steps away from door, great to chill out and just look at the stars

Cowslip cottage is probably the best hot-tub break we have been on, and we've been to lots.

Cowslip cottage is probably the best hot-tub break we have been on, and we've been to lots. Really clean, comfortable, everything you need is here. Even provided towels, robes and flip-flops for the tub. Lots to do and see nearby, didn't have to drive far for anything. Tub is sheltered so will be great to use even in bad weather. Privacy is good too. Wi-Fi is reliable but not fast.

We had a lovely long weekend stay at Cowslip.

We had a lovely long weekend stay at Cowslip. The cottage itself has been very well renovated to a high quality on all the finishes. It lacks nothing in terms of amenities with a lovely welcome hamper full of goodies, including chocolate, prosecco, bread and milk amongst other bits. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything you would need for a comfortable home away from home. The owners really have done a great job in creating such a beautiful cottage. The communication was excellent with instructions on how to find it and we met the owner on arrival who was very nice and showed us around. The hot tub area is fab and the size of the hot tub very comfortable for four people. And it was a great touch to have robes, towels and plastic glasses for our use. We had a lovely time with our children at Cowslip Cottage. We visited Sundown Adventure Land & Sherwood Forest, both of which were fantastic. The cottage was immaculately presented and well thought out for guests. The additional touches - sweets and colouring books for the children, Prosecco for the grown ups - were much appreciated. The hot tub was enjoyed by all & felt a real luxury. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again with my friends, as was my original plan! We stayed here for three days as a party of two couples. We loved the cottage and we were barely out if the hot tub! The cottage itself was immaculate and the owners seemed to have thought of everything. The welcome hamper, robes, sandals and all the little things really made it feel special. We didn't feel that we needed anything but the owners were very approachable from the beginning. The place is adorned with pictures of the work that was involved in renovating the house to completion and the owners have reason to be proud.
