Great apartments and great location. Right near the beach and restaurants and supermarkets near by. Property was always clean and enough room for us. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

der Swimmingpool ist sehr gut windgeschützt. Leider liegt diese Unterkunft an der Hauptverkehrsader, die die Promenadenstrasse mit der Hauptstrasse verbindet.

Безумно крутой и спокойный отель, приятная атмосфера и вежливый персонал. До моря 100 метров, рядом супермаркет, бассейн с шезлонгами - сказка!!! Рекомендую и обязательно вернусь!!!

Семейный отдых в Ретимно

Отдыхали в августе 2019г с маленькими детьми. Отличное местоположение. Море через дорогу. Очень гостеприимно, чисто. В номере новая мебель, посуда. Уборка проводилась ежедневно. Каждое утро комплимент от отеля - свежая выпечка. Есть некоторые проблемы с парковкой

Great rooms for families. Bed was a bit hard but plenty of room in apartment. Very friendly staff and helpful reception staff - very pleasant and informative. Suggested several good local restaurants to eat in. Pool great temperature for kids but yikes could do with a bit of a clean (as could the outdoor shower head!).

L’accueil est très bon, les chambres sont très bien et bien entretenues. Le seul bémol en ce qui me concerne est d'avoir eu une chambre côté rue en sous sol, cette rue étant passante beaucoup de voitures une bonne partie de la nuit. Demander plutôt une chambre en étage et côté piscine.

Nice place

A good place to stay. Only thing i can complain on is the madrass/pillow.. to hard/WiFi a bit bad. Good and hospitality, short way to beach and a OK pool. All in all a place to recommend.

We spent two weeks at this hotel and we had a great experience. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. The beach is 50 meters from the hotel, and there are several great Greek taverns in the area. We will absolutely recommend a stay at this hotel! :)

great place in a quieter part of town

great hotel/apartments in a quieter part of town but walkable into the old town. plenty of restaurants local to the hotel. very clean, nice pool, close to sandy beach and great service.

Would recommend

The staff is lovely and helpful and the location is great. It's just off the beach front and we had no trouble finding parking spots. Spacious rooms with charming decor and 20 minutes walk from the old town. When we visited (late October) the swimming pool was unfortunatly out of commission but a lot of local businesses have also been closed and they were starting to pack in the beach beds for the end of the tourist season. Overall we had a lovely time and can't complain. I would also like to note how clean the rooms were as we were quite impressed with that.

Парни на ресепшине прекрасно говорят по-английски, готовы посоветовать насчет экскурсий, ответить на все вопросы. Снабжают бесплатно картой города. Идеальная чистота в отеле. Просторный номер, где есть все необходимое и вся техника работает. Удобная "двойная" кровать, бассейн (на случай шторма на море). Шикарный оборудованный песчаный пляж в двух шагах через дорогу, можно ходить прямо в купальнике. Вход в море песчаный, ноль камней. Чудесная набережная, вдоль которой - красивые отели средней величины, полно кафе. курортная атмосфера, но при этом тихо. До исторического центра примерно три километра (пешком, на велосипеде, на городском автобусе). Там - море туристов, шумные бары, шоппинг и прочие "развлечения в толпе".

Un accueil très chaleureux malgré l’heure avancé dû a l’arrivé de l’avion. Hôtel très propre, belle piscine avec bassin pour les petits, (le seul bémol serait les chambres au sous sol qui font un peu enterrées), mais c’est la même chose dans les autres hôtels, je l’avais vu sur les commentaires, j’ai pris une chambre a l’étage vu sur mer, la vu sur mer est sur le côté du balcon, pas terrible, et sur la rue ou il passe des cars, mais très calme la nuit. Si on veut voir la mer et les plages c’est à 7 mètres à pied. Nous on partait le matin est on rentrait le soir. Les draps sont changés tous les 2 jours le ménage est fait tous les matins ainsi que les lits. La patronne de l’hôtel parle le Français aussi bien que moi voir mieux pour la bonne raison quelle est prof de littérature et quelle a fait ses études en France. Elle vous conseille très bien sur les lieux à visiter, nous ne somme pas rester sur place nous avions loué une voiture (je conseil pour aller ou vous voulez, attention la conduite Grecque et les panneaux de circulation comme indiquer dans le guide Michelin sont aléatoire le mot et faible pensez GPS) .Prix très raisonnable J’ai payé en CB sans problème. Après des au revoir avec la larme à l’œil et de gros bisous à la patronne.

bon accueil dans cet hôtel, la personne de l'hotel parle très bien le français, et nous avons eu des conversations fort intéressantes il est situé au début de la ville de Réthymnon , à deux pas de la plage , ce qui est très agréable , nous avons trouvé par contre la salle de bains un peu petite , et un manque de vaisselle et de matériel de cuisson, à part cela tout était parfait de plus, certains matins , nous avions le plaisir d'avoir des petits gâteaux apportés par la propriétaire de l'hotel

Nice memories

First of all I have to mention cautious attitude of hotel management, Madam Angelique and Mr Babis. Both were very nice persons trying to do their best for satisfaction of Yaconthos' guests. The room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel's location was best according to my preferences: just a moment of walk to the beach and not far from Rethymno old town district, a marvelous place for daily visits by walk (40-45 min.) or bus.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und waren gut ausgestattet. Die Matratzen sind etwas hart. Küchenutensilien gab es, war aber nur das Nötigste vorhanden. Zum Frühstück reichte es. Ansonsten lohnte sich das Kochen kaum, da Essen gehen sehr günstig und lecker ist. Das Frühstück im Hotel sotte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Sehr lecker. Der Balkon ließ sich nicht gut nutzen, da unsere Zimmer zur Strasse waren und die Klimaanlagen dort angebracht ist. Es war aber keine Lärmbelästigung in der Nacht. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Angestellte, die gute Tipps geben konnten, z.B. Restaurants oder Ausflüge. Vom Hotel ist man in 2 Minuten am Strand daher waren wir nicht im Pool, das aber von anderen Gästen gerne genutzt wurde. Zum alten Hafen sind es etwa 25 Min. zufuß und zum Busbahnhof 45 Min. zufuß. Ein Taxi dahin kostet 5€. Wir würden das Hotel sofort wieder buchen.

Agréable hôtel, proche de la plage

L'hôtel Yacinthos est idéal pour des vacances à la mer et aussi point de départ idéal pour visiter l’Île. Juste la rue à traverser pour aller à la plage et le centre ville de Rethymnon, très animé, est accessible à pied ou en voiture. Angélique vous accueillera en français et vous conseillera si vous le souhaitez sur les visites à faire ainsi que les restaurants typiques où manger. Elle vous préparera aussi de fantastiques petits déjeuners, avec gâteaux et confitures maison ! C'est sûr, nous y reviendrons !

Simple, peaceful, helpful

We stayed here for a week at the end of June and were really happy with everything. The location was great for us, 50m to the beach but up a side road so quiet and not busy with traffic. It is about a 30 minute walk to rethymnon town, or there is a local bus behind the hotel every 20 mins. The room was presented nicely, large bed, sofa, tv, air con and kitchen area with a sink and all the cooking utensils needed to stay self catered, also a balcony which was nice to eat breakfast on. The pool was a good size as there aren't many apartments in the complex, but we didn't use it too often as the beach was so convenient. Lastly the staff were really helpful, one of the owners was on the front desk most of the time and whenever we walked past, the first thing he always asked was 'is everything alright with your room?' He also have us some great recommendations for restaurants for dinner. Overall the apartment was great value for money, and we would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a simple stay in Crete.
