"We loved our stay at The Wayfinder. We were new to Newport area so were not at all familiar with the logistics. At fist, we worried that the hotel was not walkab to downtown. However, the benefit and amenities The Wayfinder provides outweighs being walkable...It might be the only hotel that offers free onsite parking. PLUS they offer a shuttle that goes to downtown every hour, which is huge because parking is not easy to find and it's expensive. So once you park your car and check in, we didn't have to get into our car again and were gone all day everyday enjoying the things to do around Newport! The shuttle drivers were so friendly and accomodating.
The hotel itself has all the amenities you need... a large outdoor pool with plenty of lounge chairs and decorated in fun colors with a fence to make you feel like you're someplace else. Little things like the colorful decor in the check-in area, and having several comfy lounging areas in the lobby to either read, relax or work on your computer. Wifi was a bit spotty in our room, but fine in the lobby. There is a good restaurant onsite, with a nice bar area. And a grab and go coffee/snack shop in the lobby which we used every morning! The rooms were clean and beds were comfy.
And the fitness is small but has everything you need to get a good workout in! We would definitely come back!"
