Located in the city of Ribeira Grande, central part of São Miguel Island, offering an excellent location, allowing to make small trips to any part of the island and its return. Set 30 meters from Monte Verde beach, 200 meters from municipal swimming pools and 800 meters from Santa Bárbara Areal. California House is a house with access for people with reduced mobility, has WI-FI access, large garden with direct sea view. Within 0.8 km you will find many tourist attractions as well as museums, churches and many other monuments of Ribeira Grande. Restaurants, supermarkets, tour desk and bus station can all be found within 100 m.

perfect accommodation

This city and beach house was perfect for us. It is close to the beach and all you need is nearby in a walking distance like restaurants, bus station, supermarkets, tourist info, the city and the public swimming pool. Carlos, our host, is very friendly and tries to help whereever he can. The day we arrived we found some local products like cheese, biscuits, jam and beverage. There are parking lots round the corner and from Ribeira Grande you can reach every corner of the island within an hour. Some interesting sightseeings are only a few minutes away. From the backyard of the house you can watch the sunset and the house itself has more space as you can see at the pictures. If we visit the island again we would definitely book this nice house again.
