The Richland Carrousel is the first new, hand-carved carrousel to be built and operated in the United States since the 1930’s.

All 52 figures were designed, carved and painted by Carousel Works of Mansfield. There are 30 horses and 22 menagerie figures, including four bears, four ostriches, four cats, four rabbits, a goat, giraffe, lion, tiger, zebra and a mythical hippocampus (part horse, part fish).

“The bunkhouse was the perfect location as we trecked into different towns,or went on hikes and met up with friends while we were out and about. “Cute little upper loft! Small but yet spacious enough to meet all of your needs!! Location was just what I needed to be close to everything I was looking to do for the short weekend stay! My only negative and it’s really not that bad and not much you can do about it is the shower. Tall step in and out with the curtain rod so low hard to lift high and duck low to get in/out. “The apartment was absolutely beautiful!! The decor was amazing with many nice touches. Loved the bathroom off the main bedroom. It was nicely located close to cute stores (we did some Christmas shopping), restaurants, a coffee shop and Beanos buckeye bar where we had a great time watching the OSU game. Communication with our host, Sam was perfect. He was a phenomenal host. The traffic was a little loud being right on Main street but we knew that going in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”
