Beautiful property with lota to do on site: we sat on rhe porch, sat around campfire, hiked, used paddleboats, discovered history of thw property. We had a relaxed fa ily style dinner around dining room table. Went to Berea, ate dinner at boone tavern, relaxed at their bar, wwnt ro Tater Knob Pottery

This was a great place for family and friends got get together. The cabin and grounds were large enough that we did not feel crowded but we always felt like we were together due to the unique layout of the cabin. We really liked the fire pit in the back. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the second floor.

Everything was fabulous! Check-in was simple. The owner provided a very thorough document about the property that includes all of the information you need. We had a wonderful family reunion here with family meeting up from 3 states. We hope to come back next year!

Group of friends for weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Martin Manor. It was clean and well l furnished. We had a small issue but owners went over and above and made it right. We would absolutely stay again. The owners were great to work with.

Bicycling vacation

The house worked great for us. Plenty of room and options. The only problem was there’s only 4 bedrooms. The 5th bedroom has 3 beds, but the only way out is to go through another bedroom. The hot tub was great. The decks were great. We even enjoyed the pond and fishing!

Beautiful setting

Enjoyed our three night stay. We had plenty of room for six ladies. Very well stocked with everything we needed. The setting is absolutely beautiful and serene. Unfortunately, the weather was chilly and rainy and we couldn't enjoy the outdoors. Thanks for sharing your log home with us.

Wonderful property and owners

Our stay at Martin Manor was perfect for our family! We were from 3 states, in town to celebrate two graduations at EKU. Loved the historic nature of the home and the spaciousness that gave us plenty of room both to spread out and to congregate as desired. Situated in a pastoral setting, we enjoyed porch time and scenic views on all sides of the house.The owners were kind and helpful well above and beyond what is normally expected. Can't say enough good things about this home and its owners. It was just wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities of this site. It was well appointed and provided a very comfortable retreat. The history of the building and creativity in incorporating three original log cabins into the design was intriguing and lent a sense of charm and tranquility that was truly unique.

Beautiful Home

This home was beautiful and even more spacious than we expected. The host was just amazing - John did everything he could to be sure we enjoyed our vacation. He was very friendly, responsive and helpful. The fishing was great too. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Golf trip

We had a great time. The location was perfect for our men's golf trip. All of us enjoyed the grounds, especially the fishing. The sleeping arrangements worked out very well compared to a lot of places we have rented. Check in was easy and the owner was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Definitely would stay again!

Simply beautiful!

Martin Manor's description didn't do it justice. We six were overwhelmed with the character, peacefulness, and warmth of the home. Weather did not permit enjoying the paddle boats or pond, but we loved the grounds and found the house to more than meet our needs for a fellowship gathering of friends from five states. We enjoyed visiting with another friend in nearby Versailles, a bourbon tasting, and two wineries during our stay. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Martin Manor.
