The town is beautiful, and we were able to watch the sunset over the water from a seaside bar our first night. This apartment is cozy, clean, and very quiet. “Wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde. Absolute Ruhe. Man muss nur bereit sein via Shuttle zum Bahnhof Framura zu fahren. Von da kann man mit dem Zug alle Dörfer erreichen. Wir waren auch sportlich mit ebike und bike unterwegs, waren wandern etc. - das Auto haben wir die ganzen 5 Tage nicht angerührt. Mit dem Zug ist man hier besser unterwegs.”

“We stayed in this house for two nights. Everything was great. I know the host indicates this, but unless you have minimal luggage or backpacks only, you will have to leave your luggage on the first floor. The stairs are very narrow and steep between the floors. However, each level offers space to relax and take in the gorgeous sea views. Thanks to Stefano’s help for getting to the location and helping us settle in.”

“This is a remote place to stay, small, quiet, old and charming. It’s really only suitable for a couple maybe with children. The owner was there to meet us. He was thorough in acquainting us with the place and its amenities. We loved it. A real step back in time. ”

“We had a great stay in San Bernardino. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The view to Corniglia was magnificent. Great walks to Vernazza and Corniglia. The apartment is not accessible for disabled guests. The apartment is absolutely recommendable for a short stay in Cinque Terre.”

“This is a beautiful house with the most spectacular view down the valley! Kids and adults loved the pool, either jumping in repeatedly or relaxing on the sun loungers. The house itself is huge, well equipped and a cool escape when the temperature rose. The location of the house is on a road but that didn’t bother us. We had a hire car which we felt was essential ( although there was a small bus that regularly went past the house) it was a short drive to the nearest village (you can’t walk……

“Renata was a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. Her home is lovely with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths and more than enough space for the 3 of us. The garden was beautiful and a nice place to enjoy the lovely weather we had during our visit. She picked us up at the station so we didn’t have to carry our luggage, had all sorts of recommendations and made reservations for us for dinner. “This is a very unique and once in a lifetime place to stay. It is a 10-15 minute walk along the cliffs above the sea to reach the historic cottage. It is definitely a bit rustic, but an authentic experience. We visited the towns of Cinque Terre which were very touristy and it was a relief to return to this isolated location with amazing views. Mariella was great at communicating through WhatsApp and met us and lead us all the way to the cottage- which is necessary because google maps won’t get……
