"Water for the shower was not hot. Bathroom and room not clean. Staff was okay. This Hotel should be a Motel 6. "

"Check in was at the Decoys Restaurant. See the hostess. The cottages were wonderful. Luxury custom bathrooms and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of seating in cottage, very good mattress and bedding, good streaming tv, fridge, coffee, water, etc. At first did not see the coffee but later found it in a wooden duck lol. It is a bargain to stay here considering the waterfront location and view. Comfortable porch sitting furniture. Walkability to Decoys Restaurant and waterfront Bar(seasonal). I will stay here again! "

"Microwave had rust spots, leaky sink, saw a few bugs, shower wasnt cleaned-had old soap and need to be washed down, sinks needed to be wiped down. "

"The property was nice…clean, good fitness center, room was fine. We booked through Expedia for only a 1 night stay and when we arrived to check in, they didn’t have any of the type of room we reserved, so they downgraded. The front desk person basically said our room wasn’t guaranteed because we booked through Expedia. We would stay again but book with the hotel directly."

"The particular amenities I was looking for fell far short of expectation. This site claimed recently renovated. It advertised buffet breakfast and hot tub. Room furniture was well worn and showed corrosion on metal fixtures,handles and supports. Breakfast by industry standards was continental not buffet as advertised. The hot tub didn't work properly, no jet timer and on second night wasn't even warm. Doors to access side entrances and pool were not secure, any person could enter building and pool area. A friend her family travelling with me stayed in another and had similar experience"

"Room was ok, nothing special. Shower had good pressure. We stayed there four days and never had the room serviced. Getting clean replacement towels dumped on the counter is not servicing the room in my estimation. I even requested service and they did not do it. We needed an extra night through circumstances out of our control and the staff made no effort to try to offer a reasonable rate or negotiate. Without hesitation, we checked out and went to the hotel next door. In general, the staff really seemed to lack training on hospitality or professional expectations. We did not have breakfast there so I can’t comment on it. Location is good. Near a lot of dining and casual commerce. If you have a short stay and simple needs, it’s fine. Needing anything in particular or special for a longer time, take the time to consider carefully. "

"AVOID! I have never had such a poor experience. I opened my room door and saw several bugs crawling on the floor and the walls. The top cover on the bed was clean, but the linens underneath were dirty and the mattress was stained. The room was nominally non-smoking but clearly smelled of cigarettes. I immediately turned around, turned my key in, and left. For what it's worth the staff did give me a full refund with little discussion."
