San Diego Riverwalk Golf Club Hotels

"We missed breakfast one day because a large group of school-aged children stayed at the hotel during the same time as us, which I didn’t mind. However, the hotel didn’t seem prepared for the number of guests. Either they didn’t cook enough food or couldn’t keep up with demand. As a result, there was a long line, and almost no food was left by the time we reached the front before closing. I believe that if the hotel plans to accommodate large groups, they should prepare better so that other guests can still receive good service. Additionally, the walls and ceiling were very thin—I could hear people running in the hallway and talking. Our room was near the elevator, which made it especially noisy until around 11 p.m. or midnight. I woke up frequently due to the noise, and the air quality in the room didn’t feel very good."

"Overall breakfast is okay. There is only pan cakes n fruits. Property is okay. I spied so many insects. Rooms were okay with all basic amenities but they need so many improvements and should be more supportive."

"Our stay was overall very nice. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and they brought us extra towels as requested. The only thing that I feel could’ve been improved was the TV, as it felt very outdated and clunky."

"The room with the bathtub was in the accessible floor and wasn't kept well. The phone did not work and we had to walk up everytime to the lobby for anything we needed. We told them about the phone but it was never fixed. The maintenance person said they were going home and never followed up on that. The hallway and general condition of the room was not good. The breakfast however was really good. that made a difference to an otherwise not so great stay. Staff were super helpful in other areas, we needed coins for laundry and they went out of their way but going to the nextdoor Homewood suites to help get us the change."

"The staff were so very friendly and helpful. Seriously top notch. The overall state of the hotel however was not as pictured. The rooms were old and felt run down. The carpet floor felt sticky. The stay wasnt bad, just not as we envisioned based on the advertised pictures"
