“What a gem in one of the prettiest surroundings I’ve ever seen. The hotel is next to the base of an amazing waterfall. Great location. The staff was great. So nice. And the property was just completely renovated. Super nice. Great AC in the room. We loved it!”

“Wir haben uns als 4 köpfige Familie mit 2 kleinen Kindern in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Bellinzona und im Garten hat es den Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Alles nötige war vorhanden und alles war sauber und gepflegt.”

“Our experience was so bad that we stayed only one night instead the two we booked and paid. The photos of the property are absolutely misleading, there is absolutely no view from inside. The surrounding area is nice, just not from right at the house. The beds were absolutely horrible. And to add insult to the injury the host, located directly above the unit we stayed in, walked around and had conversations until after midnight. We could hear every word and it felt as if someone would fall thru……

“This is basically a large cooperative house. The rooms are small. There are shared bathrooms on each floor, and a large shared living room and kitchen on the first floor. The house provides kitchen basics and you can cook if you like. I stayed in a single. The bed was comfortable. I think overall a good deal for the price.”

“Nettes, rustikales Zimmer. Aber...! Kompliziertes self-checkin. Der Eigentümer hat den Überblick nicht, wer, was, wann bezahlt hat. Trotz 12 Std. Vorauszahlung erhielt ich den Code für den Schlüsseltresor nicht und musste umständlich telefonisch nachfragen. Dafür kamen im Anschluss immer wieder unnötige Nachrichten vom Eigentümer. Das Zimmer ist zwar nett, aber die Decke sehr tief. Wer grösser als 180 cm ist, kann nicht gerade stehen. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Wasserkocher um löslichen Kaffee zu……

“The room we received was not a studio as advertised and even as stated in the reservation confirmation. A basic room with a matrimonial bed and auxiliary bed in the basement, instead of the upper floor appartment the Expedia listing showed. The room was clean, and aircon was a blessing, but it was not possible to bring auxilliary bed with pull-out frame onto a level sleeping height, it remained step-up for our entire stay, making it tough nights for the 3rd person. “Wir haben uns sehr wohl mit einer tollen Aussicht und ruhige Umgebung wahr es für fast perfekt jedoch wenn man ohne Auto dort ist kann man nur mit Zeitaufwand zur Stadt kommt aber sonst waren das eine tolle Unterkunft”

“Wunderschön, mit einer Atemberaubenden Aussicht. Mit vielen Möglichkeiten von dort aus etwas zu erleben wie baden im See, in der Maggia, shoppen in Locarno, wandern am Monte Bré, essen in einem Rustico. Ein sehr sauberes Haus das mit liebe gepflegt ist und alles hat was man braucht. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön an Thomas der immer verfügbar war und gute Tips für Ausflüge hatte. “In theory this is a fantastic place. Logistically it is a nightmare. If you rent a car there is scarce parking if any and if you take public transit, your walk uphill is at least 15 minutes. The closest store of any kind is kilometers away. There are not screens on the windows and there are many bugs and critters so sleeping with the windows open is not possible. The summer heat makes it unbearable to sleep anywhere but the ground floor kitchen. So we slept on foam mats in the kitchen. There is……
