"Overall, a great resort, and we really enjoyed our stay! Just wanted to share a word of caution regarding the main pool, especially for families with babies or toddlers.
Be sure to check the pool depth before entering through the middle stairs. My wife, who is about 5’5”, entered the pool through the middle stairs while holding our toddler, not realizing the water was approximately 5.4 feet deep. Both ended up going underwater, and thankfully, someone nearby was able to help them.
We’ve stayed at several resorts, and this was probably the deepest pool we’ve encountered. The entrances on the sides of the pool are much more gradual, making them a better option for families with little ones.
Again, we had a wonderful stay and aren’t sharing this as a complaint, but simply as a heads-up to other guests. What happened to us could have ended much differently, and we hope this helps other families avoid a similar situation."
