“As expected ...”

“1) There was hair on one of the bed sheets. 2) Breakfast options were mediocre at best, especially if one is vegan or vegetarian. 3) No elevators at all and therefore if you have small kids or senior citizens, it may be a challenge. 4) One of the doors leading to the parking lot was not locked and secure. This is a huge safety issue.”

“Comfortable stay, friendly staff good value.”

“The room looks okay but everything was broken or in disrepair. The freezer door was broken was off, the sink was plugged, the closet door handle fell off, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the shower didn't spray properly and there was barely any hot water. When we went to leave in the morning we got locked in. After much work we were able to get out of the room. The only good thing was the bed.”

“If you don’t mind a lack of a swimming pool and other hotel amenities this place is great. I especially like small cabin concept. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Room had wonderful view of the river! Nicely renovated and friendly staff. Wish room had a mini fridge though. There did not appear to be an AC. A fan would also be a good idea.”

“Schönes Haus. Idealer Standort, um die Region von Cacouna / Rivière-du-Loup zu erkunden. In den Schlafzimmern lassen sich die Fenster nicht vollständig verdunkeln. Die Zimmer im 1. Stock liegen hintereinander (eines der Zimmer wurde oben auf der Galerie bei der Treppe eingerichtet). Das Wohnzimmer ist nicht gut beleuchtet (nur zwei kleine Leselampen vorhanden). Schöne Aussicht auf den See vom Esszimmer und von der Terrasse aus.”

“Fabulous view of St Lawrence from sun room. Cottage rustic but cozy and comfortable. Some housekeeping glitches which the host took care of when notified.”

“We arrived early evening and could not get in reception. I eventually got hold of the manager via landline. He told me the property had not been taking guests for nearly 2 years How could Hotels.com still be taking bookings for this place and even sending me reminders up to the date we arrived ”
