「Lovely peaceful location just outside Mapua on the ocean. We loved the privacy, the space inside and out and the comfortable bed. All the amenities needed for an extended stay were provided. Host was very helpful to answer any questions. We like the location for day trips to Abel Tasman area.」

「Very comfortable and spacious home, immaculate and beautifully appointed with every amenity. No details overlooked, especially in the bathrooms (heated floors, lighted mirrors, etc). Jonathon was an excellent host and incredibly responsive. Very nice, central location for the northern region. Quick 10 minute drive to Nelson, but also some great restaurants and shopping nearby in Richmond itself.」

「We enjoyed our stay in Nelson, the space was comfortable for 6 adults, and the view was lovely. Well equipped kitchen even though our stay wasn’t really long enough to cook much more than simple breakfasts. I would say that we didn’t really consider it walking distance to town, given that it was straight up/down and we are all fairly fit people. Carrying groceries or supplies would have been next to impossible. That said, we had a car so it wasn’t an issue, just a note for future guests. 」

「Amazing location with views in every direction. Modern home with everything you need. Lovely shower room and separate toilet. Enjoyed sitting on balcony, bbq dinner and watching the amazing night sky whilst listening to Kia and a kiwi. We drove down to town as it was a bit steep but worth driving around the area as it’s beautiful. Definitely recommend 」

「Perfect cottage, ideal location. What I love was the thoughtful little things too… we needed nothing other than our clothes…laundry powder, comfortable beds, insect spray, cooking complementaries, paddle boards… those things meant a lot. Perfect in a magical part of the world. 」
