3 level cabin on Mt Mitchell golf course

"Everyone in our party thought this was the best place we had stayed at in the Burnsville area. We had 3 families staying and each had their own level in the house with each family having their own bathroom. Also being able to have all 10 of us sitting around the same table at dinner was a real plus. We will definitely put this place on our future vacation itineraries."

"When we got up to the property, we didn't really know what to expect. It was more spectacular than we could have imagined. The drive up the steep driveway was a little intimidating, but with high risk comes high reward. The view was breathtaking. I would have liked to seen a clear night on our stay to see the stars, but mother nature had other ideas. My advice to future travelers is to plan your outings accordingly. If you want solitude, this is the place for it. It takes a while to reach any stores in town (Burnsville, Spruce Pine) for anything. Luckily there are a couple of convenience stores up Hwy 80 to get any necessities, but plan to stay in and get the most from the experience when you can.The owners were very accessible and answered any questions via text within several minutes. Any discrepancies between the listing and the property were not a big deal. Anything you can think of not having when arriving, chances are they have it (such as kitchen tools).5/5 Excellent stay and worth revisiting!"

"Comfortable home with amazing views. Beds were really nice. Be sure to grab an extra pillow or bring your own. They are small. TV is a little tricky and the cable is spotty at best but the TV does give you plenty of streaming choices. There was only 4 of us but the home could house another 4 people comfortably. Would consider again with additional family members. Loved the breeze on the porch!"

"We enjoyed the cozy stay in the rustic cabin. The host was helpful when we had questions. My kids (9, 12 and 14) enjoyed the outside river (though it was very cold weather during our stay) and "living in the 1900's". It was a great place to disconnect from the world but connect with our friends. We would stay again."
