“Everything just superb”

“Spectacular sea view from the room and yummy breakfast. Helpful staff.”

“Our stay had both positive aspects and some areas that could benefit from improvement. The bathroom was a highlight of the room—spacious, clean, and equipped with an excellent shower. The room itself was clean and offered adequate space for a comfortable stay. However, the lack of central air conditioning was disappointing. A portable air conditioning unit was provided, but it emitted an unpleasant odor when operating and was quite noisy, which made it difficult to get a restful night’s……

“It's a very basic accommodation, but very friendly staff at breakfast. Breakfast was quite good as well! The rooms are a bit run down and doesn't exactly give any "palazzo/palace" vibe... Location is right in the middle of old town, however the hotel does not have any parking nearby (at stated on this website) so you're left alone with finding parking on the streets like everyone else ;) There is a parking place (approx 25 EUR/24h) close to the beach, not too far from the hotel (10 min walk).”

“Great location; I had a view of the Cathedral and central Piazza from my room. Very walkable to all of the main sites. Lots of restaurant choices. Only downside was the glass recycling (not controlled by hotel) that came each morning at around 7:00 am; thankfully that only took about 5 minutes and then the vehicle was gone and things were very quiet again after that. The tradeoff of the location was well worth that minor inconvenience.”

“Die Unterkunft war insgesamt in Ordnung, wirkte jedoch bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Parkmöglichkeiten gab es lediglich in einer staubigen Einfahrt, wodurch unser Auto nach dem zweitägigen Aufenthalt komplett verschmutzt war. Bis zur Altstadt läuft man etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Zimmer selbst konnte nur über die Terrasse betreten werden. Dadurch gab es kaum Privatsphäre, da sowohl andere Gäste als auch das Personal regelmäßig direkt vor der Terrasse vorbeiliefen. “Lacking amenities in the room eg water, kettle. The sink also appeared to be constructed incorrectly ie it was too near the wall so you couldn’t open the tap fully. There was also one day our room wasn’t cleaned despite having the “please make up our room” sign on the door. However it was about a 20-25min walk to the city and the concierge staff were incredibly lovely. A good hotel if you’re looking to be out most of the day, and none of the ‘issues’ mentioned were a deal breaker for us!”

“Everything was great: the hotel has its own bay, beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, all included, excellent breakfast and lunch restaurant (reasonable prices and good food). The amount of space you have in your room and terrace is incredible (for me, luxury=space). Only drawbacks: 1. a rocky beach. Bring water shoes. You get used to it. There’s a ramp (of sandbags) to help you get past the rocks and gravel in the shallow parts). 2. (Serious) no safety strips in the showers: very slippery. All in……

“Nice welcome. Enclosed parking lot so no need to worry about dings or squeezing the car into a haphazard slot. Room simple but clean, well-appointed with comfortable bed.Tasty (Sicilian) buffet style breakfast - enough to fill a range of preferences. Flagging that there is nothing cooked (if that's important for you). Patio great for eating or simply chilling and the place is quiet. Its about a 20 min walk (down hill) to the beach so you get your work out coming back up. Would stay here again ”

“We had booked 2 standard rooms almost a year in advance through Expedia- the cost was more than we wanted to spend however the hotel, pool and beach area looked so superior that we decided it would be worth the 487 euros per night, after all we were travelling with our friends both celebrating their 65th Birthdays. We had confirmations that the rooms were indeed booked from June 1- 8 inclusively. Upon arrival on June 1 we were told that the hotel had generously decided to "up grade " us to the 5……

“The room was generally not bad, but the bathroom was a bit small. The location was convenient, with all attractions within walking distance. The highlight was the terrace, which offered a sea view and a chance to see the sunset. However, the terrace was connected to the next room, so I could hear the neighbors' conversations.
