「Super sweet staff! However, not having a toilet in the room was a bit strange lol but to be expected with a hotel built in 1923, other than that it was a great stay. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to town.」

「Remote staff consistent with many nice hotels in small towns. Clean and comfortable. Spartan, but all expected accoutrements provided (blow dryer). No outside windows but that helps with sleeping late and is expected when an old mercantile is converted to hostelry. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. 」

「This is an older facility that has been remodeled. Room was clean, location was great, and the staff was very polite and helpful. The bathroom in our room could use some updating but was ok. For the price we were quite satisfied.」

「The smell when you walk in wasn't pleasant. It smelled like mildew and very stagnant. I guess my room was near the laundry room because I heard the dryer all night.」

The only thing that bugs me is we can never get a 1st floor room even though I always request one in advance. Would be okay if there was an elevator. We stay here twice a year for last 4 or 5 years 」
