“Deduction without reason”

“Very nice hotel, but generally dark in most areas. Entering at street level into a dark space with no direction that the lobby is on the next floor was unacceptable. Service at the lovely lobby bar was not up to the standards expected at this level hotel. Very slow and not crowded. Very nice room with a great view and amenities. ”

“Location was perfect walking distance to many landmarks i.e 15 mins from central park and Times Sq. And Bryant park was up the street which was cool. We arrived before noon and our room was ready and also upon checkout they allowed us until noon with no extra fee. Front desk provided us with complimentary water bottles whenever we asked for them which is a bonus. Our room 2305 was cool and had a view of empire state building and was quiet.”

“Need to improve elevator sutuation”

“Absolutely exquisite on every level. Quality, design, service, comfort. Couldn’t recommend more. I’m a finicky sleeper , especially when traveling but I had the best night sleep in the last month here. The service is top notch. I’m known to be particular about just about everything and I have only the best things to say. It’s worth the extra dollars. ”

“Room had lamp shade missing. Everyday after I left the room, I could not access my room. Door card has to be reactivated everyday when I returned from an outing. Apparently they do that for "your protection". I am not sure how deactivating key card protects me. No one can get into my room unless they had a key card. I was never told at check-in that this was their procedure for rooms there. A guest should not have to go to the front desk to get back in their room every time they leave.”
