「My friends and I stayed here recently while in town for our college reunion. The location can’t be beat- easy access to downtown Lexington, W&L, VMI, the Chessie Trail, etc. We will be back!」

「Always beautiful up here. Cozy and clean cottage. We have the most relaxing time up here. Our first time was for our honeymoon four years ago. This is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the mountains. We will definitely be back again! 」

「Cute as a button. Traveled with our 3 adult ish kids and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy this beautiful area of Virginia. Suzanne is a wonderful host who has thought of every detail in the space. The horses in the back pasture are perfect view for starting and ending the day.」

「I contacted the owners to see if my family and I could check in earlier and they were about to accommodate for us. The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay.」

「Everything was as described in listing. Beautiful property both inside and out. My family & I enjoyed the stay. Water was a little cool for us in September but our pup thoroughly enjoyed the river as well. The sound of the running water is very peaceful. The only suggestion I would make is adding a television in the master suite (personal preference) and add a few more towels & wash cloths. Great home. I highly recommend.」

「Beautiful location. Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions and needs before and during our stay. Kitchen is well equipped for most cooking needs. We used the gas and charcoal grills, both are well maintained. Perfect for a quiet getaway away from it all. 」

「This property is absolutely gorgeous with the mountains and streams! The home is set up perfectly and is dog friendly with fenced yard! We definitely appreciated the treats the first night we arrived. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was so beautiful. We loved all the art work as well. The rocks set out for signing was a great idea! Thank you for the use of your home.」

「My wife and I enjpyed a 4-day visit to the Cozy Cottage. The cottage is an easy 2 hour drive from washington DC. Our host provided all the information we needed for out stay and was easily reachable. Great area for hiking.numpparksparks」

「This was a family gathering to celebrate a UVA graduation. We wanted to stay away from the craziness of Charlottesville. This house was perfect! Everyone in our party raved about how cute, comfy, well laid a house it is! Very well stocked - PLENTY of wine glasses! lol We hit 4 wineries and a brewery (2x) during our stay - all with/in a 5 mile radius! We would highly reccomend and would stay again - for longer - in the future! 」

「This place is a slice of heaven and a great place to get away from everything. The hosts have gone out of their way to think of everything and make a stay relaxing and so comfortable. The house is beautifully done and so clean. I will definitely be back!」

「Great attention to detail. Hosts left extra surprises (including fresh flowers!!!) and provided everything we would need for our stay. The flat was clean, private/quiet, and communication and checking in and out were a breeze. Would definitely stay here again! 10/10!」
