"It is a new hotel building. Everything felt new and modern. The amenities are practical, helpful and now looking. That said, our bathroom vent fan wasn't working, probably an early failure of a part that the hotel management wasn't aware of. The location is 1.5 miles from Lake Logan and 11 miles from Hocking Hill visitor entrance. Both are very short and convenient distances. Overall excellent stay and experience. Highly recommended."

"Plenty of room for our multi-family get together without feeling cramped. Hosts were easy to get in touch with and responded quickly.Kitchen was amazing! There was everything you needed as far as spices and cooking needs, and plenty of room for multiple people without everyone getting in the way of each other.Plenty of towels and pool towels.Even basic toiletries were provided in case you forgot something like a toothbrush."

"We were here for a family vacation and this was perfect for us, since we had four families with children. When we weren't hiking and exploring Hocking Hills, this was a great place to hang out, especially in the lower level where it was cooler and had the pool table and arcade games. The hot tub was a hit, too! Because it was so close, we visited Rockbridge Nature Preserve, which we likely wouldn't have done otherwise. We recommend it! And even closer is Revolution Rockbridge Winery, just a 1-minute drive away. Definitely recommend them too! The only issue is that the bedroom layouts didn't match the pictures. Maybe this was a recent change since I didn't see other reviewers mention this, but now all the bunk beds are in one room. This would be great for a group with older kids or teens, but ours weren't quite ready to share a room without their parents. We made it work out, though, with one family sharing the bunks and the rest sharing king beds."
Hummingbird Cabin with Indoor Saltwater Pool

"We wanted something very nice at Hocking Hills and our search indicated this was "the place." We weren't wrong. The downstairs pool is amazing. During our stay, a thunderstorm blew through. When it knocked the electric out, the Hummingbird Cabin's generator kicked in and we were back up and running within 30 seconds. Cannot recommend enough!"

"It's a beautiful area and so peaceful. It's definitely a space you rent if you're the type that likes to relax outside. The inside of the cabin is cute. Small, basic, and very clean. Outside is gorgeous! My husband was very successful catching fish while I fed the koi from the dock (I even gave them names). I'd recommend picking up firewood for the pit, which we unfortunately didn't do, but the uninterrupted view of the stars was better than any fire. It's one of the few places in the area that actually has decent cell service, if needed"
