“Except the cleaners did not refill the toilet papers, the stay was relatively smooth and good. We had to use fan equipped in the house since we had 19 people.”

“Great location smooth transaction”

“Will definitely recommend the house. It had everything as listed and in working condition - pool table, poker table, sauna, hot tub were a nice touch to keep the teens and adults entertained. Host was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.”

“l searched all areas of VA in the hope of finding the perfect stay for my birthday and found it at Cabin in the Woods. It's exactly as described online. My daughter, her dog and I didn't want to leave. There's absolutely nothing negative to be said about Cabin in the Woods and the excellent host. Cozy, clean, well appointed, private spot on a hilltop. We got a kick out of the non-offensive gobbling from the turkey farm off in the distance and the cows who came up the hill to see us. Nature……

“Overall a great location and accommodation.”

“We greatly enjoyed our stay at Mostly Porch. The house is beautiful and very spacious. Everyone felt like they had individual space but could come together in the common areas. The wood furniture is so beautiful. I especially love the dining room and the master bedroom. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, where you can see the mountains, to playing pool in the basement. The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas grill was very nice to have as an option. Having the 3 1/2 baths was so……

“Immaculate. From cleanliness, to a helpful host, to the overall environment. The Jacuzzi was very relaxing and view was stunning. Would recommend and would visit again!”

“Beautiful views, perfect location, loved the friendly horses (if you pull a bunch of grass, the all brown stallion will eat it from your palm). Location is close to multiple restaurants and grocery stores and beautiful scenery. Could not have asked for a better long weekend anywhere else. Thank you.”

“Patrick was awesome to deal with. The place was very quiet with wildlife moving around.”

“We booked this home for a family trip to Massanutten. We could not have asked for a more perfect property - the location is spot-on, the view of the golf course is amazing to drink your coffee by in the morning, and the hosts were very sweet and helpful. We plan to book this same place in the future for our next family trip. Highly recommend!”

“Enjoyed trail hiking at topOf mountain. Only 1.2 miles from the house.”

“Love the cabin look and feel of the home. Rooms were very roomy and spacious. There were 9 adults and 2 kids under the age of 7. The grandkids loved watching the deers while sitting in the screened in porch. It rained on and off the entire time we were there but the basement had tons of games for all of us to enjoy. There's plenty of parking for 4 vehicles but the driveway is steep and when backing out the car safety feature kept going off because of the angle of the driveway to the road. I……

“Views were awesome.”

“My family of 12 and I stay was absolutely amazing! What you see on the pictures is what you are going to get. So clean, spacious and well designed. All of the amenities were included on the property. The kitchen was very spacious, the hosts were readily available to assist your every need, a huge recreation room and the hot tub was the cherry on top. We all had a nice and relaxing weekend in this beautiful home. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Massanutten. ”

“Nice secluded location. Pool and zipline were great. Place was clean. A couple of issues though. The WiFi is incredibly slow. Also, the smoke alarm went off at 4am the first night. The keurig broke and was spitting out coffee grounds. We messaged the host about these issues and never received a response.”

“The cabin in McGaheysville is perfect for a family stay -- bedrooms are clean and uncluttered, living-diningcooking areas are comfortable and well-equipped, lighting is very good, games already at the cabin are a blast & the driveway access & parking are easy to use (though steep b/c the cabin is built into the hillsides of the Shenandoah region, as the rest of the Massanutten ski area's properties are). The Adventure Center, Shenandoah river paddling, Massanutten community pool and other……

“Stayed for a few nights with group of 4 guys for our annual mens getaway. Enjoyed hiking in Shenandoah which was close by and visiting area winery's and breweries. The House was well stocked and comfortable. Fire pit by the river was a highlight. Would stay again”

“This was our second time staying at the Golden Ridge Cabin. It is perfect: beautifully appointed, very clean, and so cozy. Kurtis is a very communicative host and we got a sweet note from the property manager welcoming us upon arrival. Rawley Springs is one of my favorite places and it is wonderful to be able to walk down the road to enjoy them. I hope we will be back.”
