Yes, we are Pet friendly for up to three pets, (can be flexible, please ask). It is not included in the nightly rate, it is a separate fee. Weight limit up to 50lbs ( can be flexible, please ask). First pet is $150 fee, please add on the booking page where it asks if you are bringing a pet. Additional pets VRBO can not charge for so, please let me know and I will send you a request for payment. Additional pets are $150 + $22.50 (tax).
Rules for pets
1. Please, only pets that are house trained and no puppies or dogs under 1 year old.
2. Dogs must be crated when left alone in the house.
3. If you bring a pet(s), and it is not disclosed at the time of booking, you will be violating the house rules and will be forced to cancel your reservation and no refund will be issued.
The home's location has a quaint, cozy feel and is located right on the water on a beautiful canal just seconds to the bay. It has exceptional water views from two separate balconies. You can fish right off our private lighted fishing dock or you are seconds away from entering the Bay with your boat and experiencing some of the best fishing the Gulf Coast has to offer.
The master suite, located upstairs, has a king bed and private balcony perfect for sipping your morning coffee and watching the abundant wildlife and boats heading out for their big catch. It also has a flat screen TV with cable and large master bath with a whirlpool tub and large glassed in shower.
In the evening, both balconies are perfect for watching our fabulous sunsets.
This home is furnished with upscale coastal decor, wood flooring, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and two flat screen TV's. It has Cable and WiFi. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking (including a coffee/tea bar with coffee/creamers/sweeteners for regular drip and Keurig coffee machine) and we replace our dishes and pots and pans regularly.
Located on the main level of the home is the living area, dining room, kitchen, guest bath and two guest bedrooms. Two guest bedrooms have king beds. Upstairs, in addition to the Master Suite which has a king bed, there is another bedroom (Flip Flop room) which has a queen bed, 2 twins and a full bath attached to this bedroom.
The downstairs street level - right on the water - is where the fishing dock is located and it is great for having a large group gather for fishing, eating or just relaxing. A large portion of the downstairs area is covered. There is a propane bbq grill here.
Our guests always tell us our home is much nicer than they expected. And of course, Rockport's dining, shopping, blue wave beach and community pool are close by for you to enjoy too!
Swimming in the canal is not recommended:
Please be aware that the dock poles, bulkhead walls and bay/canal water contain very sharp oyster shells that will cut your feet and hands if they are not protected while you swim, boat or kayak. Protective foot wear should be worn at all times if you are in or around the water.
Additionally, stinging jelly fish are common in the canal.
City of Rockport Aquatic Park/Community pool is about 10 minute car ride - minimal fee.
Rockport Beach is about 10 minute care ride.
