“We loved the quaintness of the hotel - it was beautiful too. The area is perfect for walking/rambling and was very quiet. The staff we encountered were lovely, kind, helpful and polite. “We stayed at the Rose & Crown for an overnight stop, on our way back to Bristol from a weeks holiday in Scotland. The hotel has been there since 1455, lots of history, we found it to be a very cosy and quaint. Real wood fires making the snug cosy and warm.
