“This is a gem in Assisi. I stayed here for one night before checking into another place in the historical town centre. The resort is super clean and quiet which allows you to relax as the town centre can sometimes be crowded with tour groups. There is a sauna in the room, also the view from the hotel is magnificent where you can see the panoramic view of the whole historical centre of Assisi. You won’t see it if you stay inside the town centre. It just takes 15-20min walk to the historical……

“Hotel caters for one night coach tours. Who leave early so get up earlier. No sound proofing between rooms and we could hear every word spoken plus their phone alarm woke us up at 6am!!! Typical dated decor. Dark wood furniture damask bedspreads and plates on walls!! Breakfast was unimaginative, fruit hard and unripe and basic plus they were continually setting up for the coach tour lunches clattering crockery and cutlery. Outside is neglected and scruffy For the price this needs refurbishing……

“The location could not be better, steps from St Francis Basilica. The views are spectacular. I valued the history of the hotel, which used to be a monastery. They have done a good job adding some modern conveniences while maintaining its historic foundation. Breakfast was simple but tasty and the customer service was excellent. Very much recommend this hotel. ”

“Excellent Hosts. They did not speak much English which we actually enjoyed as my wife got to try out her Italian. It is a little slice of heaven tucked into the Hillside of Umbria. Lots of extras and the pool was magnificent! If there was ever any stress…Relax Cottage! ”
