Great place, clean. You do have to check in in the building next door. Also, the phone in our room didn’t work. They did give us a local number to call anytime but took a while to respond to our requests.

I really enjoy the room, very spacious and comfortable for a boutique hotel. Please know the hotel is on the third floor inside the building but needless to say it was a great stay.

We had an excellent stay at 1880 Atypical rooms! Simona and Jeffrey were both accommodating and helpful. Most of Rome’s attraction are all walking distance from the hotel. The main terminal (Roma Termini) is within 10 minutes walking from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at 1880 Atypical Rooms and will stay again when we go back to Rome.

The location is very good, there are many restaurants nearby, safe, Simona was very kind, the only problem I had is that they advertise that they have Parking and they do not, they are in an area that cars that do not have a permit cannot pass, i had to walk 15 minutes with the suitcases from the parking lot where I left the car to the hotel but beside that everything was good

We were very happy to have used 1880 Atypical Rooms as our home base for our few days in Rome. The hotel room was huge (larger than hotel rooms in the U.S. which says a lot for Europe!), clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to many landmarks - the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, and Pantheon - as well as the metro station and many restaurants and shops. Simona was friendly and very helpful in checking in with us the day before, answering questions, and helping arrange an early morning cab to the airport. Would highly recommend!
