AMAZING!!

This is by far one of our favorite properties anywhere. There is nothing like looking out your window and seeing St. Peters Basilica. We are planning on returning in a few years but if you are thinking about going to Rome during the Jubilee, this IS the place to stay!

The apartment was very spacious, private and extremely well appointed and comfortable. Facilities were modern, immaculate and functioned well, and appeared as in the photos. The layout offers privacy for more than one couple and Alessandra was a kind, helpful and attendant host. Communication was prompt and clear.

Five stars are not enough. This was our ninth trip to Rome and we have always had good accomodations but Little Dome was more than we dreamed of. Immaculately clean! Comfortable. Well furnished and accented. Our hostess was ready to provide a fast response to our every need and left fresh fruit, milk, crackers and wine as well as a freshly baked tart. Easy walk to shopping, restaurants and sites such as St. Peters. A block from a taxi rank. Great views and quiet building. You can't find better!!!!

Wonderful!!

We stayed at the little Dome during July and were so happy with our stay! The apartment is just as described and as pictured. It had everything we needed to make our stay extremely comfortable. The property manager Alessandra was there to greet us upon arrival, and showed us around the apartment, giving us all of the details. She went above and beyond by leaving us snacks and drinks to get us started! Not only was the apartment comfortable, but the air conditioning worked wonderfully during the hot summer days. The location was perfect and so close to many restaurants and shops and a taxi pickup line, not to mention how close it is to the Vatican! We would highly recommend staying at the little dome, and we hope to be back again in the future.

COMFORTABLE AND WELL LOCATED

Our hostess greeted us and showed us around the apartment. She was warm & friendly and very willing to take care of anything we might need. She even had some breakfast and snacks stocked in the fridge for us. Very thoughtful, indeed. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

Incredibly Comfortable, The Most Gracious Host!

WOW! that's all I can start with. We were greeted at the building and from beginning to end the owner was gracious, available via email and full of great information. The apartment is fully furnished with everything you will need for a very comfortable and perfect visit to Rome. The neighborhood is filled with cafes, shops, stores anything and everything you might need. I loved it and would highly recommend it to any one looking for a place to stay near The Vatican. Public transportation and airport transfers, literally ac ross the street or at the front door!!

Fabulous property in a great area! Very walkable!

The manager was very responsive to all our quest. Lovely, charming property. 4th floor walk up with an elevator. 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms in a corner unit. All rooms have windows. Very light and fully stocked! One of the best we have stayed in and would highly recommend this unit to friends, family and travellers!

Location, Locations, Location!!!!

This spacious apartment is located in the center of town with short walks to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Square. It is very well maintained and most importantly, clean. There are restaurants and shopping surrounding the apartment. Alessandra is a wonderful host!!!! She answered my many questions prior to our arrival and was readily available during our stay. She had a map of the historical monuments and recommendations of her favorite restaurants. I booked this apartment 8 months in advance and mentioned the trip was to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived, Alessandra had the kitchen stocked with pastries, sandwiches, fruit, water and a Birthday cake which was such a nice touch. I highly recommend this apartment and would most definitely stay there again.

This is the Perfect Home away from Home in Rome

I could write pages and pages about how wonderful our stay here was. First the apartment. It is a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home, in really good condition. I loved the furniture and all of the amazing books. The huge bath tub was a real plus as you can soak in it after a busy day sightseeing, and then feel refreshed enough to head out to dinner. The beds are very comfy. It was quite cold when we were there and the heating was excellent. The washing machine works well, and although there is no dryer, getting things to dry was no problem. We placed our damp clothes on portable drying rack which we placed in the sunny living room when we went out sightseeing, and they were dry by the time we got home. Secondly the situation of the apartment is excellent. The Vatican Museum and St Peter's are a few blocks away, a bus stops right by the from door to the building, there is a subway stop a few blocks away, and a taxi rank a block away in a pretty square. There are 2 small supermarkets nearby - where you can buy fresh baked bread, pecorino cheese, olive oil and wine. What more do you need? There is a well stocked pharmacy on the square, and plenty of restaurants close by. The best part of the location is that you can see the dome of St Peter's from the living room! Finally, Allesandra is the best VRBO host that we have ever met. She arranged transport to and from the airport for us, on arrival there were sandwiches, pastries, and wine waiting for us. How thoughtful to feed us! She had also stocked the fridge, there was fruit, and all sorts of interesting goodies for breakfast. She is simply the best! I could go on and on about this apartment - but the bottom line is that it is great value, and a really great place to stay. We will be back!

Vatican Little Dome made our Rome stay memorable

Our group of two couples loved this beautiful, cozy, and clean apartment where we stayed for three nights. From the time we booked this place to the time we checked out, all expectations were met and even surpassed. Alessandra the owner was more than welcoming. Great apartment near the Vatican

We enjoyed our four night stay at this property. It has a small but very modern and well equipped kitchen and the rest of the apartment is very spacious and well decorated. It has an elevator for easy access and is walking distance from a Metro station and the Vatican. A number of small local supermarkets are also nearby. We'd have no hesitation in staying here again.

Could not have been more impressed with the beautiful apartment, how well it was stocked for breakfast and the thoughtful gesture of supplying sandwiches and snacks for our arrival in the afternoon. Everything was spotless, with plenty of towels and extra linens. Our hostess Alessandra was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Located near the Vatican and Basilica and a 10 minute walk from the metro. Would highly recommend this apartment for two couples, or a romantic getaway or friends visiting Rome and would certainly return again.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous location.

Vatican Little Dome is a perfect place to stay in Rome. It is exquisitely furnished including welcome snacks and chocolates, has a well stocked kitchen, and is 5 minutes from the Vatican and 10 minutes from Castel Sant Angelo. There is a square nearby and metro minutes away. Alessandra met us and gave us a tour of the apartment and helped us with arranging transportation to the airport at the end of our stay. She was wonderful.

Best location and great apartment

This apartment was a great location and made our stay in Rome wonderful. It is a few blocks from the Vatican, Metro station, local supermarket, and great restaurants. We were met at the apartment when we arrived late by train from Florence. Alessandra gave the tour of the apartment and even had some sandwiches for us to eat, she stocked the little refrigerator with some items to get us started on our stay in Rome. I would stay here the next time I come to Rome and recommend it to my friends and family. If you are arriving at the Rome airport, you can take the Bus Shuttle for $6 Euro and it will drop you on the same street the apartment is on. It takes 50 minutes from the airport but is the least expensive way. Otherwise you can take the Express train to Rome Termini and then switch to the Metro ( 6 stops till you get off ) and then 2 block walk to the apartment. This is a gem you should not miss if staying in Rome.

Without a doubt this is one of the most beautiful apartments one could have in Rome. Alessandra greeted us on time and could not have been more hospitable. She was helpful and genuinely interested in our having a wonderful experience in Rome. It was truly a pleasure to meet her and to know that she was only a phone call away should we need anything.The apartment feels like home as soon as you enter. It is beautifully appointed, most comfortable and in a perfect location to the Vatican and the historic center of Rome. Far exceeded our expectations! A+++++

We absolutely LOVED staying at the Vatican Little Dome! Upon arrival, we were given a tour, complete with instructions on how to use everything. My husband and I were traveling with my 80 year old mother and it was just perfect. There was plenty of space to spread out. The fridge was well stocked with milk, juice, water and even a few beers! Pantry had coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal and breakfast items. We arrived straight from the train and hadn't had lunch yet. Waiting on the table were small sandwiches and Italian snacks. It was the perfect welcome! The bathrooms were stocked just like a nice hotel, with soaps, shampoo, even combs, Q-tips, etc. There are air conditioners (stayed in Sept - didn't need heat) in each bedroom and the living room, making it comfortable for all. If you are concerned about noise, the windows were amazing and kept noise out. There were plenty of linens and slippers were even provided! Having a washer was also a big plus (FYI: air drying is the norm, there was a nice drying rack available to use) and there was even laundry soap available so no need to run to the store or bring your own! The binder on the hall table had instructions on how to get to certain places using the transit system, plus instructions on how to connect to the wifi, etc. Location is perfect if wanting to get to the Vatican. 5 minutes in one direction is the entrance to the Museums, 5 mins in the other directions is St Peter's square. There is a bus stop right in front of the building, a taxi stand on the next block and the train stop is also very close. TVs in each bedroom and in the living room was also nice, with satellite in the living room. Wifi was fast and my hubby was able to work for a bit (much to my chagrin). Alessandra kept in touch with us and made sure we were well taken care of. She arranged for car pickup for our trip back to the airport and it arrived right on time. If back in Rome, we will definitely want to book here again! Customer service was A+++++
