ALTIERI LOFT PANTHEON

  • Wonderful loft located in the Palazzo Altieri, one of the most beautiful buildings of the Roman nobility, built in 1554 by the architect Giovanni Antonio de Rossi, author of the Palazzo Bonaparte. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and enjoys a fantastic view over the roofs of Rome and the dome of the Pantheon. The apartment is on two levels . On the first one there is a large living room with a sofa convertible to a double bed and a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with shower. On the second floor there is an double bed area and a single sofa bed area. It is a fully equipped apartment with air conditioning, dishwasher, TV, hi-fi. Classical furnishing, upholstery and fittings, high wooden ceilings and wooden floors complete this elegant apartment built in a historic building and artistic heart of Rome.

The location of the apartment is stellar and it is very clean. The beds are a little firm for my liking, the stars are a bit steep and getting the apartment to cool down with the aged AC units was difficult. Overall decent stay.

Loved our stay here. It’s in a central location to most attractions and has all amenities within a short walking distance. The loft is great, and we had no issues. Check in was easy.

Lo positivo: no creo que exista una mejor ubicación en todo Roma. Es increíble, sales y TODO queda cerca caminando. Vale muchísimo la pena ya solo por eso. El sitio es como un edificio muy viejo, pero eso lo hace muy padre. El departamento en si pues normal, pero para estar en el centro de Roma y en ese edificio viejo, esta bien. No me encantó la atención del que nos hizo el check in... No nos explico todo bien, andaba con prisa y un poco mal encarado... Nos pidió los datos de la tarjeta y los apunto en un papel, me sentí un poco incómodo por eso. Importante que sepas que hay mucho ruido por las noches, es muy céntrico y debajo hay un bar muy popular. Pero valió la pena, la ubicación excelente.

As a group of three this was a good fit. The host who checked us in was great and provided useful information. The location just can't be beat for getting to all the sites in the heart of Rome. We found it useful to wear ear plugs at night to cancel our the street sounds including the sirens from the nearby police station.
