Lovely refurbished apartment with all modern comforts on the first floor in the heart of the ancient Rione Monti, one of the most historical areas in rome and loved by both Romans and tourists.The apartment is on the first floor (UK) (2nd floor USA) of an old building with lift and it is composed of two double bed rooms (in one room you can have two single beds instead of a double bed), a living room with table, chairs and a bed sofa (for two persons) with a lovely terrace, a well equipped kitchen (oven. fridge, microwave, dishwasher), a bathroom with shower. Wi-Fi, air conditioning and TV are available. A wonderful view over San Martino ai Monti square. Through the windows you can see the beautiful square of San Martino ai Monti with two medieval towers: Capocci Tower and Graziani Tower and also see the back side of San Martino e San Silvestro Church. You can see also in the distance the horses on the top of the Altar of the Fatherland (Altare della patria).

The stay was good. They let us drop off our bags a little early. The photos kind of make it look like it’s in that old tower but it isn’t. It’s in an adjacent building on a very small side road. There are restaurants nearby and we walked most places from here pretty easily. The exception was the Vatican which we took a cab. The roads are pretty hectic. If you plan to rent a car you might want to think again. Walking is way easier and this location is walkable to pretty much all the tourist spots.

This location was perfect for our family of four. We were within walking distance to all the major landmarks with lots of great food options and convenience stores nearby. Ms. Martina was so accommodating and provided wonderful advice and assistance. Highly recommend this accommodation and would stay again if we ever get to return to Rome.

The neighborhood and location was perfect! We took evening strolls over to the colosseum (about an 7 min walk)and grabbed gelato on the way! Several super markets fairly close as well. We felt safe and secure and the apartment had great space and was very clean! The outdoor space was lovely at night, but no view. The property had lots of great extras such as shampoo/ soap, coffee, sugar, etc. the beds were comfy and pillows were perfect!

The property was clean and spacious. We only stayed a night, but we were able to get to the Vatican, Colosseum and Trevi fountain all from 4pm- midnight after our arrival. We could not figure out the city transportation, but Taxi’s were nearby and we were able to get those easily.

We had a great stay for our last night in Rome. It's a very short walk to the Colosseum. The apartment was very clean and as described in the listing. Martina was great with communication and check in was very easy. There is a binder with details on everything in the apartment as well as recommendations on things to do in the area. Our flight was in the afternoon and Martina was great with letting us check out a little later and store our luggage until we needed to leave. I'd highly recommend staying here for your trip to Rome.

This was truly an excellent and amazing place for us. I traveled with my husband and young toddler, and it had everything we needed! It was a great base away from the hustle and bustle of Rome and not too far from many iconic places- we were able to walk to all of them. The location is peaceful and close by to excellent food (including pizza, pasta, shawarma, Chinese food- excellent options for all different cravings you might have). Also walking distance from a couple of great supermarkets and coffee!The apartment itself was very clean, spacious and overall excellent!! Martina provided wonderful guides, the apartment was stacked with books and so much more. HIGHLY recommend!!!

First trip to Rome

The owners were wonderful, the directions and description was perfect, but they went above and beyond in their communication and even left a book with wonderful advice for navigating Rome and even how to eat as a Roman. We took their advice and ate at several of the restaurants they recommended! The location was great, close to Roma Termini and about a 15 min walk to the coliseum or forum. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious for the three of us. It has a cute outdoor terrace. Also has a washing machine which we used several times. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were very pleased with our stay in Monti. Dario was exceptionally patient and accommodating. He stayed in constant contact with us and was beyond helpful. We were a large group which can be challenging and Dario made our visit extra comfortable. The flat was large and clean, comfortable and had all of the needed basics. The area was very easy to navigate and centrally located. We would certainly stay again!

Martina’s apartment was excellent. Location is within a great neighborhood away from the touristy areas. Quiet at night and safe. The inside was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4 (kids are 18 & 22). We didn’t spend a lot of time there as we were taking in what Rome had to offer. We had a lot of good food from the suggested places. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Glad we had air conditioning too since it was 88F/31C during our stay. If you are looking for a comfy place to call home while in Rome that is outside the crowded areas, yet close enough to lively attractions and places, this is a good choice.

Quick stay in Rome

Stayed here for 2 nights with 3 adults and 1 teenager. The apartment had plenty of room for all of us with a nice outdoor, covered seating area. Easy location to access attractions in the city from. Host that checked us in was friendly and helpful in answering questions during the stay.

Wish we had booked two nights

We have been to Rome a few times before and opted for a shorter stay this time on our way to Amalfi Coast. But I wish we had stayed one more night. The beds were comfy and there is a washing machine which was handy being halfway through our holiday.The location is great for a walking tour of the sights. We found an overnight parking garage just a block away which was super handy. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Apartment

My family and I booked this apartment to stay in for our flight out of Rome the next day. Apartment was in a residential neighborhood with a nice bakery, gelato place and restaurants nearby. It seemed like a neighborhood out of the main touristy areas and there were lots of locals around. The hosts were very attentive and there was a lot of resources for us to enjoy our stay. Would recommend!
