Lovely cottage

We are a couple from Manchester and opted for this apartment because through the map we saw that it was near from our destination airport (Ciampino). Our choice has been right: the cottage is cosy, clean and well maintained. The owner very nice and helpful. If you are looking for somewhere cheap and not too far from the city this is you place !!

Excellent does not even describe it! Allasandro is an amazing host!

We did not want to leave this charmer! We were so comfortable in this adorable little cottage. The Wysreria were down right georgeous. And our little kitty friend was a d light to see every morning and evening! This place is out of the busy bustling city and we got a true taste of Italy here. If I return I will be staying here!

Very cute and cheap accomodation

We are really happy of our stay in Rome, we were lucky enough to find some beautiful sunny days. Thanks to this fantastic weather, we were able to enjoy the relax in the lovely garden of this apartment, particularly my husband who loved to sit in the hammock outside. The interior of the house was very nice and clean and the kitchen was very useful to us because we didn't want to go to the restaurant nightly. The owner was always attentive to our needs, he responded to our request by phone or by mail in less than two minutes, also he took us to the subway station for free and when we had finished our daily tour of Rome we used to meet at the same subway stop for the returns to the cottage.

Truly an Idealic Getaway!!

Alessandro and his Dolce Casetta are an ideal spot to enjoy all Rome and surroundings have to offer! The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well furnished, so one may cook in the cozy kitchen and eat at home, or you are close to great restaurants in Grottaferrata, or nearby Frascati, or even an evening in Rome! The train station to get to Rome is in Frascati, a mere 15 minute drive, and there is great parking...5 euros for the day, and the train ride is about half an hour into Rome for 8.40 euros roundtrip. But Rome is not all there is to see in the area! Grottaferrata is in the middle of the Castelli Romani....and each and every commune is worth a visit! In addition are such hidden gems as Artena. Alessandro was a fantastic host....they came and cleaned everyday, and left breakfast goodies. We felt quite spoiled, and were sad to say arrivederci.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in der Nähe von Rom

Das Grundstück liegt nur 7km von Rom entfernt. Wir sind mit dem Mietwagen bis zur Metro gefahren und von da aus haben wir Rom erkundet. Auch zu empfehlen: Gardino di Ninfa / Nymphengarten (ca.1h Fahrt) oder ab Anzio (ca.1h Fahrt) mit der Fähre zur Insel Ponza. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, Allessandro war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Kleine Abstriche für zusammengewürfeltes und zu wenig Geschirr + Besteck. Ansonsten alles prima und 5 Sterne wert. Empfehlen dich gern weiter !!

Wonderful host!!

Nice comfortable place close to metro station. Allesandro went above and beyond our expectations. We didn't have a rental car and our first day he drove us to a grocery store and waited for us while we picked up some things. He also helped us get a rental car and was just incredibly helpful in so many ways. Every day our apartment was tidied up and the most delicious croissants were left for our enjoyment. My favorite was the chocolate ones! We were visited daily by a sweet cat named Meatball. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch every evening watching the sun set. Wonderful memories!!

Simply Perfect

Alexandro, Thank you for the pleasent stay. We were so happy to stay at your apartments, they were so clean, and very warm. You were so nice to both my wife and myself and so helpful. Sehr schöne saubere Unterkunft. Alle Annehmlichkeiten vorhanden! Etwas laut, da eine Durchgangsstrasse am Haus vorbeiführt. Bei geschlossen Fenster aber kein Problem. Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, hilfreich und stets zur Stelle. Wir waren mit dem Auto vor Ort. An der U-Bahn Anagnina gibt es ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten für 2 Euro pro Tag um bequem in die Altstadt zu gelangen.

Maison parfaite vacances parfaites!

Très jolie maison dans un beau jardin. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le nettoyage quotidien, le calme, l'accès facile au centre de Rome, la proximité de grottaferrata et de frascati...et la gentillesse du propriétaire.

Un Panorama spettacolare

Ho trascorso un piacevole week end alla dolce casetta con il mio compagno, devo dire che la casa è arredata con gusto ed è talmente confortevole e fornita di tutto che ti passa la voglia di uscire soprattutto in queste fredde giornate. Siamo stati benissimo e ci torneremo sicuramente.

Delightful cottage

I am very satisfied about my stay at la dolce casetta, I travel a lot cause my job and mostly in that area. My need is to have the chance to cook inside the apartment saving time and my wallet and there it was possible. Special mention for the fantastic view.

Quello che cercavamo

Graziosa casetta indipendente immersa nel verde di una villa antica. Ci siamo trovate fin da subito a nostro agio grazie alla simpatia e spontaneità del titolare. L'unica pecca è la colazione confezionata, che però ci ha spiegato il titolare non dipende da una sua volontà ma dalla legge in tema di somministrazione che non gli permette di offrire prodotti freschi. Consigliato anche a famiglie con bambini, c'è un area giochi, un giardino con porta da calcio e una piazzetta con canestro da basket.

Ormai una certezza

E' la seconda volta che soggiorno in questo appartamento b&b, sempre nel mese di dicembre per motivi di lavoro. Se l'anno passato eravamo rimasti soddisfatti, quest'anno dobbiamo sottolineare molti miglioramenti. L'esterno parla da sé, un parco enorme e un giardino di roccia rendono questa casetta unica nel suo genere. Ma senza dubbio è l'interno che già molto bello è stato notevolmente migliorato, piccoli oggetti, quadri, accorgimenti sono stati inseriti e hanno fatto fare a questa casa un ulteriore salto di qualità. Il proprietario poi ha la capacità di metterti subito a tuo agio e di instaurare immediatamente un rapporto amichevole, Ci torneremo sicuramente anche l'anno venturo.

Loved it

Staying 6 days at la dolce casetta with my family, booking far in advance because we were intrigued by previous reviews. I have nothing but good things to say. The rock garden and decor are lovely. A real great italian experience near Rome. Very comfortable beds and a lot of space for my 2 sons to run and play mostly in the green of the main garden. Special thanks to the friendly alessandro

Lovely getaway in the roman hill

Me, my wife and our baby (4 yo) stayed at la dolce casetta for a long week-end this april, it had the perfect size for us and was very clean. The host live next door but in a different structure and he is ready in every moment for everything should you need. We liked the opportunity to be indipendent not just for open the apt (that's normal) but because the host has given us the remote control of both entry/exit gates. Other things that we appreciated was the huge garden, the delicious coffee and a very tender black cat that has played so many time with our baby.

¡Muy mona y barata!

Nos hemos quedado en esta casa 5 días durante nuestro largo viaje por Italia y nos quedamos con muy buen recuerdo. El jardín es grande y está muy bien cuidado. Además, la limpieza diaria de la casa te ayuda a hacer sentirte que estás de verdad de vacaciones, ya que sólo tienes que pensar en disfrutar la de la estancia y en divertirte. Mi novia y yo estuvimos de lujo, parecía que el propietario ya nos conociera de toda la vida, ya que en todo momento se mostró muy amable y disponible y para todo lo que nos hiciera falta. Alrededor de la casa hay muchos restaurantes e increíbles paisajes, sobre todo recomendamos visitar los lagos. La verdad que es una casa que recomiendo y el precio que nos cobraron es muy barato. Para repetir!

Twenty degrees in november

Thinking back about our two weeks trip in italy, the 3 days spent at la dolce casetta are those which keep the best and amusing memories. we had already booked a 2 nights stay but we wished to return for spend the last night before our return in Ireland. The aspects that were more appreciated are the welcome and the care of the furnishings but certainly the main attraction is the garden with its plants and its huge trees. We traveled as a couple but doubtless next time we'll bring our kids with us. Thanks to the host for the nice time and the greatful stay

Una bella scoperta

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo trascorso 2 notti in questo curatissimo ed elegante appartamento, niente da dire, tutto come ci aspettavamo dai pareri letti sul sito: pulitissimo, ben arredato e soprattutto conveniente. Consiglio vivamente a chi capita da queste parti di provare la cucina locale, ci sono dei ristoranti caratteristici dove si mangia in modo egregio.

Great october in Rome

We rented the cottage for 4 days and found great weather and a stunning landscape. it is a really a good deals...i don't know if it's more beatiful the interior of the cottage or the marvelous garden. Thanks to the owner who, with his kindness and sympathy made ??us feel better than at home. In about 25 minutes you are at the center of rome, livin' out of the bustle of the city. My boys liked especially the soccer field

Feeling at home. Top quality B and B

My husband and I spent two great nights. This was one of the best B&B I have stayed: the apartment is a good size with large and extremely comfortable bed with good quality linen and it was like being at home. Just the bathroom is not so spacious but equally useful. The property is in a great location with huge garden, close to the train station and metro station. Our host was extremely helpful in recommending things to do and places to see. I would definitely recommend this B&B and hope to go back soon. But what makes this so special is the owner, he's so friendly and make sure you feel really welcome.

Precioso loft

Stupenda location

Non potevamo desiderare un posto migliore: sole, verde e tanto spazio per rilassarsi. La casetta è davvero una delizia, pulita ed arredata con gusto. Roma è facilmente raggiungibile con la macchina o attraverso le stazioni metro anagnina e cinecittà. Francesca
