DELICIOUS LOFT TO SAN PIETRO

Delightful loft 700 meters from St. Peter's, located in a quiet and quiet street but close to the old town. A 4-minute walk from San Pietro Station. Characteristic, welcoming and equipped with every comfort, its peculiarities make it different from the classic holiday homes. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Large terrace.
Located on the first floor. Inlet via external staircase. Space, distributed over two levels, is subdivided as follows:
- On the ground floor comfortable open space with sofa and tv, kitchenette and bathroom; from the living room you access the large terrace;
- loft area with French bed and wardrobe.
Interior staircase, ceiling and wooden furniture. Fully equipped kitchen for every occasion with oven, microwave, American coffee maker, kettle, sandwich plate, etc. Bathroom with bidet and shower with chromotherapy. Each room has a window overlooking the terrace.
The apartment is in a hilly position in a quiet residential area. Within walking distance you will find all services for a comfortable stay: bars, tobaccos, supermarkets, restaurants, bank, post office, train station, bus stop, bicycle rental. The main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. Within 3 km you will find: San Pietro e Vaticano (700mt), Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Risorgimento and Via Cola di Rienzo (1.5km), the quaint Trastevere district, the famous Vatican Museums, Piazza Campo de 'Fiori and Piazza Navona (2-3km) just to name a few.
The convenient location allows you to visit most of the city's major attractions on foot. The apartment is well connected via the San Pietro Station (200mt) with the Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino Airport and Termini Station.
At 50mt from the house there is bus stop no. 34 which will lead you comfortably to the Vatican area.
Smoking is not allowed. Animals are not allowed. It is forbidden to organize parties / events. Unsuitable for children.
Check-in time: 14:00 - 20:00.
Check in between 20.00 and 22.00 is a cost of € 25.00, after 22.00 it costs € 30.00.
It is obviously allowed to smoke on the terrace.
Tourist tax of € 6 per person per night to be paid upon check in.

Awesome stay

Stefano was a great host! He welcomed us to his home and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants in the area as well as ones around Rome that were his favorites. In addition the apartment was the perfect size for my partner and I and the balcony was absolutely amazing for unwinding at the end of the day. Overall the place was great and we would definitely go back in the future if we are ever in Rome again!

A Few days in Rome

Property served us well. Great location if you're ok using public transportation to see most of the main sights of Rome. Vatican is within walking distance as described. The bus stop 34 that is listed in the description does not seem to be active. We were told by a local that it would not be coming. The next closest bus stop is approximately a 10 minute walk which involves a hill. This Was not much of a problem for us, but for people with mobility issues I would consider this. Apartment was clean; however, there was a slight off putting odor from the bathroom. Host was easy to communicate with and offered many suggestions for local places to eat. Upon check out we were reminded of the tourist Tax that needed to be paid. Host told us this tax was €6 per person per night but the listing clearly says €3.50. It might be a good idea to discuss this price before the stay so there is no confusion.

Great place, great location

We only had a few days to stay in Rome. Stefano’s flat worked out perfectly. It’s close to the train, Saint Peter’s, restaurants, you name it. We loved the terrace. It’s a small but great place for a couple in a nice area. Highly recommended.

Terrace in Rome

The flat was in a lovely spot within a mile of St Peters Square. The position was great but be prepared for hills. We really appreciated the outside space and Stefano had made every effort to ensure that everything that we might need in the appartment was catered for. He was the perfect host and really appreciated by us both.

Wow, merveilleux appartement.

Amazing Accomodations

First of all, Stefano is a very gracious host. He refused to allow us to carry our luggage up and down stairs to get to the apartment. The view from the terrace was wonderful. The apartment is decorated with exquisite taste. Stefano gave us wonderful directions to the trains, restaurants, etc. When we couldn't get a taxi to pick us up to take us to the train station , Stefano was on the phone immediately to solve the problem. He stayed on the phone until he made a connection with a live person to make sure we didn't miss our train. We arrived at the train station in time to check in and make our connection. I would highly recommend this property to all of my friends and family. Thank you Stefano for an amazing experience.

Best host!

Our stay began w Stefano picking us up from the train station and taking us to his property! Who does that! He personally gave us the tour and even had a little shadow box w business cards of local restaurants. Throughout our stay Stefano was available w any questions. Fabulous Location!

Stephano is a wonderful host and willing to meet you at the local train station to show you around and introduce you to the apartment. To no fault of his own, we were running late, really late, which added some unwanted pressure to us to hurry to meet him. Having some type of system to allow you access to the unit and not feel pressured to arrive on time would have been preferable. The apartment is cute, super clean and very cozy. Stairs to the loft are steep, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with knee/hip problems or older in age (+60) but past that, are great place. Location is perfect, quiet but so close to everything. The bus line is 2 blocks away which will get you to and back from the heart of old Rome with ease. The Vatican City is a short walk away. Lots of restaurants to choose from. We would stay here again.

Amazing Rome accommodation

The host is fantastic. His English was great and he communicated everything so well. He gave us detailed instructions to take the train to his place and directed is to a small pub right off the train where we could sit and have a inexpensive cold drink while we waited for him to pick us up. Just what we needed after a long flight. He gave us a short tour of the essentials needed in the neighborhood and a run down of his place. He helped us with restaurants and sights to see. He even gave us the bus routes to our destinations. For our first stop in Italy he made it perfect. His place is very modern and has every amenity. We loved his terrace .Stefano is a super host and I would recommend people stay here for a great vacation.

Away from the crowds

This apartment was located not far from St. Peter’s. The apartment is close to a treni station, do not get it confused with the Metro station. Stefano was super gracious and accommodating. We made the mistake of taking the Metro and he was kind enough to pick us up. He explains everything you need to know and makes recommendations for dining out. Great place to stay.

Great Place, Accessible to but Away from Tourist Centers

We had a great time staying here. We liked it because it was accessible to the events, sights and sounds we wanted to see, but away for the tourist centers when we wanted to relax. Even though close to the Vatican, we were on the "other side" where we experienced a normal Roman neighborhood where the Romans went about their daily lives. Loved the wonderful large terrace and the view of the neighboring homes, that made us feel very much in Italy, while having our morning coffee and delicious Italian pastries. Our host, Stefano, was so nice, picked us up at the train station and took us to the apartment. Showed us how to access the apartment and he even had electrical adaptors for conversion from US plugs to Italian plugs. The apartment had everything we needed. Nice accessible kitchen, very new and clean bathroom, and it was great to be able to do laundry during our stay. Our stay was for two weeks so that we not only saw the City of Rome, but experienced Rome with all its history, charm, excitement (and hassles) of living in a big city. Would stay here again. Thanks Stefano for making our visit to you very historic city so memorable.
